PETER'S POV

So it's been a good week for me, I made a good $200 thanks to a generous couple. I did the groceries and got enough food to last us a week.

My dad found a job working as a contractor, its a far cry from being an accountant which he was before he was laid off, but the pay was good cause they were building a skyscraper.

This skyscraper would be the first ever one in geyser falls. Yeah it's name is almost literal cause of the massive geysers about 5 miles up the mountains

I sat down in our front yard staring at nothing in particular out into the woods that lead into the mountains when my eyes fell on something.

At first it was a blur, like a black smudge. Then it got closer

And closer

And closer

Until it was standing 20 meters away.

It was a sleek black wolf with silver tipped fur, it was frankly the biggest wolf I'd ever seen in my life about 5'2 and it was staring right at me.

There was something about its eyes that kept me in one place, call me weird but they looked exactly like Jade's. Eh... Maybe i'm just being paranoid, I gotta get this girl out of my head!!

I looked back up expecting to see the wolf, but it was nowhere to be seen, yep definitely paranoid.

After my run in with the 'mystery' wolf I went to work. My head was still pondering over the beast's appearance, but my thoughts were interrupted when something ran into me and fell with a thud.

I looked down to see Jade sitting on the floor wincing from the impact, I however was unaffected.

"What are you made of stone?!!" She all but yelled at me, she got up and massaged her butt. "Sorry," I said "I didn't see you there." She sighed

"It's okay" then she began walking away.

"Jade," I said against my better judgment, she turned around

"Yes?"

"Um...... I was just....... Um,, wondering if you would like to.....  I don't no, maybe come to the amusement park again with me?..... For Katie!!!!! Of course, cuz she really likes you."  I quickly added the last part.

Jade looked at me with an amused look in her eyes.

"Are you sure that I'm coming only because Katie wants me to?" She asked a little too politely.

"Uh.... Yeah, it's just for Katie." I lied feeling my face heat up. She smirked at me "OK then I'll be there at 4. Don't forget." She is the last word in a singy songy voice. My blush deepened and she walked away smiling.

Now I just have to figure out a good excuse about Katie.
You see, last week, I sent her to a one week camp with all the other kindergartners and she wouldn't be back until day after tomorrow.

A lot of excuses came to my mind but I decided to tell her the truth.

At exactly 4pm I saw Jade walking towards me with a knowing smile on her face.

"Soooo, has Katie come down with something? I hope she's ok." She smiled at me waiting for an answer.

"No she's not sick I just kind of forgot that she was at camp." My face was turning pink, and Jade pouted.

"Well I guess I should go since the person that wanted me here is away." She began to walk away slowly.

I caught her arm and turned her around, my face was beet red by now.

"You dont have to go,...... I just kinda wanted to ask you out, but didn't know how, then I thought about how much Katie liked you but forgot that she wasn't here." I kept rambling on about how stupid I was when jade stopped me.

"Its ok, I get it, now let's go in already!"

We spent 2 hours playing games, riding rollercoasters and eating cotton candy before heading out to the woods (Jade's idea) to relax.

For the entire time we were there, we asked each other various questions about likes and dislikes.

Then we stared up into the late evening sky.

"So what's your favorite animal?" I asked out of the blue. She sighed and then answered " I would have to say dogs. Cause they're loyal. And you?"

My answer was easy, "I would have to say wolves. I just really like them, I mean i like dogs too but wolves are at the top especially the alpha."

I couldn't understand the look on her face so I continued, "the alpha's the one in the group that calls all the shots, so he's like the leader."

She smiled and turned towards me."you really like wolves huh?" she placed her hand on my chest and leaned in closer "that's really interesting"

The moment her hand touched me it sent sparks through me, my face was getting hotter every second.

I looked at her gorgeous eyes, and I instantly remembered the wolf i saw.

Why are her eyes so similar to that Wolf's?

Could she be?........ Is it possible?....... NAH!!!! I'm just being an idiot.

We stayed like that for a few minutes more, with her hand on my chest and her head on my shoulder.

We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways both with goffy smiles plastered on our faces.

I could get used to this.

JADE'S POV

I ran the entire way home, my heart was racing by the time I got to my front door.

My hand still had tingles from when I touched him. I couldn't stop thinking about him after that day, he was in my head from morning to night, 24-7.

He was so nice to me the entire time, I can't remember ever having so much fun in one day. I hope that I'm not dreaming, could he really be this nice? Or is he just faking to get some?

I placed the white teddy bear on my night stand, it was very fluffy and had different shades of pink circles on it. He won it for me at a test your strength game, the weight hit the bell so hard that it rang for a full 5 mins wow!! He's really strong!

I went to sleep that night with thoughts of my day with peter in my head.

I can't wait till tomorrow!!!!
