PETER'S POV

I saw jade walking towards us, she looked gorgeous in her outfit, black was definitely her color.

Katie couldn't care less as to why we were at the fair, the moment the words Ferris wheel exited my mouth, she was already dressed in her yellow floral flared dress and white sandals. Her class came back a lot earlier than expected and Katie was finally acting like a 5 year old.

I knew that jade would be mad at me when she hears my reason for avoiding her today, but it was the truth.

She had a 100 watt smiled plastered on her face, and the shiver that passed through me was almost visible.

What the heck!!!!

JADE'S POV

I couldn't hide the smirk that played across my face when I saw the effect I had on him.

Payback is a bitch.

He was standing next to an ecstatic katie who tackled me with a big hug the moment I got to them.

"Shall we?" I looked at Peter and he nodded as we began to walk towards the wheel, did I mention that I hated heights? Ha! Didn't think this through did you. The annoying voice in my head re-emerged and mocked me. Shut it!! Yelled at it in my mind, this could work to my advantage. And with that I shut her out.

The line was huge and it would take a while before we got to the front, so I took the opportunity to talk with peter.

"So you planning on telling me why you were avoiding me today anytime soon?" I tried looking him in the eyes, but he avoided my gaze.

He looked at me and tried to look confused, but I continued "that lame excuse you gave me before only lasted so long." I folded my arms across my chest and waited.

He signed "jade you wouldn't believe me if I told you because honestly it sounds pretty messed up." I raised an eyebrow at him and he continued "I just don't want you to freak out when you hear about the crazy stuff that happened." I smiled on the inside you have no idea what I've seen or heard in my lifetime. "Try me." I said looking him now straight in the eyes, he sighed "I'll tell you on the wheel." He sounded defeated and I did a happy dance in my head. Yeah I'm that weird!

After a waiting for what seemed like a century -10 minutes- we finally got onto the wheel.

Katie was in the carriage in front of us with her best friend Abby.

I looked over to Peter who was trying to make as much space between us as possible in the little carriage when the ferris wheel stopped, I smirked then I held onto his arm and snuggled up closer to him, his long sleeved shirt was soft. I felt him tense under my touch slightly, then relaxed, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling knowing that it would be gone soon. And my fear of heights? GONE!

Its a good thing that the guy operating the wheel was a close friend of mine, or else we wouldn't have had this opportunity yay!!!
