Killian's POV
I stared intensely at the seconds displayed on my watch in anticipation.
57...58...59...60.
I looked up at the sound of the pressurized S.A.C. being released. My eyes found themselves to the chamber with increasing curiosity.
Inside, there was the girl. She rubbed her eyes and let out a tired groan. I looked her up and down to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
She opened her eyes and I saw one eye a deep blue while the other was nearly gold.
Out of shock, I jumped up, accidentally slipping on the screwdriver I left on the floor earlier. I fell to the floor with a loud thud.
I looked back up at the uniquely eyed girl and in return, she stared down at me from inside the chamber. After a short moment, the girl clutched her head with a pain ridden face. I guess the side effects must've kicked in. Probably a migraine. I thought.
I heard them before I saw them, the people I was trying to "best," as Bob put it. Looking down on me as I layed on the ground, were the best scientists and engineers on Supernova, including Bob.
I looked up to the girl as she spoke directly to them, still clutching her forehead in order to minimize the pain from the migraine.
In a stern, controlled voice, she said "Where's my brother, Lucas?" When she saw the scientists begin to look uncomfortable, worry set seed on her face. More questions sputtered from her mouth. Her voice grew more frightened and frantic by the second. "Who are you? Where is everyone else?" she paused for a second.
    "What year is it?"
"The date is August 19, 2917" I muttered out before realizing what I said. I could feel everyone's eyes pierce through me like lasers.
The girl's face grew dark as an unreadable expression appeared. She was indeed 300 years too late for her time. The girl was frozen in place, trying to process the new information.
I had never seen this many emotions in one face, at one moment in time, not ever in my short lifetime.
She ran out of the S.A.C. at a startling speed and cut a sharp turn out the door. A few of the scientists ran after her but it was no use.
I looked back at the scientists who were now glaring at me when I felt a sharp shock in my right arm.
My head whipped around to see a metal cuff around the pained area. A police robot had ahold of my arm and stated in its monotone, robotic voice. "Killian Apollo, you are being detained for tampering with experiments, unauthorized experiments and trespassing." I struggled to get free, but the grip of the stupid robot was too strong. The weight in my pocket was calling to me. I grabbed an emergency killcode from my pocket and jabbed it into the side of the robot. I knew it would come in handy sooner or later. Now it was time to see if it works.
Immediately, the robot started showing the effects of the killcode. A few sparks later, and the cuff was released from my arm.
I took off like a mouse out from a spring trap. I ran out of the S.A.C. room and towards the Living Areas. I ran into my quarters at full speed. The automatic door quickly shutting behind me.
Crouching down near the keypad on the right of the door, I pulled off the metal framing. A tied up bundle of wires tumbled out from my past experiences of rewiring the door. I picked my way through the wires and grabbed the red and brown ones. I grabbed my tweezers from my tool kit and connected the metal wires. The color red flashed over the keypad and the buttons disappeared. A cartoon lock clicked on the screen.
If you're running away from someone, why not make it fun while you're at it.
When my breathing finally slowed down enough for me to somewhat relax. I sank back against the wall and fell to the floor, still trying to get ahold of my breath.
The girl in that S.A.C.. She's not some sort of science experiment. Does that mean the laws they are charging me with are invalid?
My thoughts were so loud that I didn't hear the unusual noises thundering coming from the air ducts. The vent pushed out and fell to the ground with a loud clatter.
I jumped out of my skin from the sudden sound.
I recognized the figure immediately when they exited the vent and stepped into the light. It was the girl from before, her unique features were hard to miss.
She jumped out of the ducts and landed on her feet with a light thud. Her sweatshirt and sweatpants that had been originally white were now a tainted color of gray from the dust. She patted her clothes in an attempt to get the dust off, but it was no use, her clothes would probably stain unless it was washed soon. Once she was finished dusting herself off, she looked up at me with an intimidating glare.
She looked tired. It was probably the side effects of being in the S.A.C. for so long.
With a blank stare, she took several steps towards me, examining my face closely. Almost as if their emotions were completely gone, she looked almost inhuman. Almost as if she were one of the robots that surrounded me on this technologically run planet.
I backed away quickly unsure of what she was going to do, accidentally backing myself into a corner. Once she was less than a foot
away, she kneeled down. We were face to face, her nose was only a few inches from mine.
In a stern and unwavering voice she spoke" May I ask you a few questions?"
