I sat in my room,a bitter, metallic taste in my mouth due to the blood pouring from my likely broken nose.

I fought to keep tears from spilling out of my eyes as my older brother fought my father while my mother was likely OD'ing on the couch.

I grew up in a broken home,a broken life. The only good thing in my life is my siblings and my boyfriend, Darren.

I held my baby sister close to me, trying to keep her from crying as our brother screamed in pain.

I made up my mind...

I grabbed a backpack and a few small blankets, stuffing them in my bag along with my charger, phone, and some clothes.

I tossed it on my shoulder, holding my sister quickly before hopping out the open window.

We were only on the first floor,so it didn't hurt except for my severely bruised knee.

I ran as fast as i could to my boyfriends house in the woods nearby.

I winced as I tripped over a large branch. I tumbled to the ground, holding up the baby to make sure she didn't get hurt.

I opened her blanket, making sure she wasn't hurt anymore than she already was.

I swallowed as I stared at the large gash upon her tiny forehead, only there because of my mother and father getting mad because she soiled her diaper.

I knew she wouldn't last long, but she didn't deserve to leave in that hell hole...

I felt for her pulse, sobbing heavily as I felt the last beat of her tiny heart. I held her close, sobbing loudly.

The rain poured around us,her skin turning pale and blueish. I wanted to scream,to fight,to keep my siblings alive...

But I couldn't...

I set her down in a fluffy blanket, kissing her head once before standing up and falling back down quickly.

I clawed at my skin, almost wishing to be rid of all of the pale and pasty misery that covers my body.

A faint prick of blood drizzled down my arm, followed by a large stream of it, combining with the rain water.

"Victor?" A familiar voice called from behind me.

I curled into a ball next to the body of my baby so,not even a year old when she died.

"Victor! Oh my God,are you okay!?" Darren, pulled me close to him,his body warm and drenched in rain.

I continued to cling to the small body, refusing to let go.

"Victor!? Please talk to me!" He panicked.

I just continued to sob, salty tears dripping down my face. I clawed his hoodie, sobbing into his shoulder.

I felt weak, helpless... tired... so, extremely tired.....

I passed out,in his arms.
