Chapter 17 I'd Rather be me.

Janis POV:

   I saw online about the burn book being there and pages around the whole building and the school was like a live boxing match but no protection and just angry teenagers fighting about rumors about them.

   When I saw the page about me and Damian I gasped "Pyro-lez!? Cady said they didn't write anything about me..." Damian scoffed and said "And we told her I was too gay to function but Cady wrote it down in a offensive way..." Cady was a backstabber to us I gritted my teeth and the principal then called all girls to the gym.

    Once all students were there Damian tried blending in with the crowd and Cady waved to us innocently but Damian put his fan out and blocked his face. I chuckle and whisper "Good one" Damian smiled proudly and I didn't see Y/n in the crowd which I was confused about.

   Gretchen was in front of us and I tapped her shoulder and whispered "Where's Y/n?" Gretchen shrugged and I nodded and I looked over at Regina and saw her with a black eye my Jaw dropped and I nudged Damian. "Look at Regina" I whispered Damian looked and gasped "Damn..."

    Then all of a sudden the principal started talking about the burn book and asking who wrote it and no one stood up to it. Then Mrs.Norsbury took it from there and said to write down something to the school and then fall into a trust fall.

    Mrs. Norbury did an example then went back into the crowd of teens and they caught her. Soon all girls were doing it and one went all emotional about it and cried on the stage and it sounded cringey and stupid and Damian shouted "She don't even go here!" Then fanned his face to block it.

   Then it was my turn and Regina said some stupid comment and everybody laughed and I scrunched up the paper with my speech on it and I threw it and said "I was going to say something on this paper but I should speak from here" I said with my hand on my heart.

    I looked over at Cady and I started talking about how I should be me and how I didn't need anyone's good opinions. Then I hit the best note at the end and Regina stepped onto the road where a bus hit her. Best day EVER! I grinned and smiled and Cady covered her mouth in shock.

Y/n's POV:

    I drove my car as fast as I could to the hospital where her room was and I knocked on it so many times. Then someone opened the door and it was Regina's mom and she said "Oh come in sweetie" I nod and I come in and I see Regina on the bed with a neck brace on.

    I smile awkwardly and wave "H-hi Regina" Regina scoffs and said "Why did you let her in mom?" Regina's mom smiles and says "Cause I need a break" Her mom leaves the room and I walk over to her and Regina says "What do you want!?" I flinch and take of my hat and say "I-...I'm sorry" Regina raised a brow and I went on my knees and said "I just got so mad and this isn't a free entry back into my heart but I do want to let you know that I'm sorry" Regina nods and strokes my hair and I was about to stand up and leave but Regina said.

     "What can I do to enter back into your heart?" I look in her eyes and see her smirk and I say "W-well you need to promise you won't say any rude comments to anyone again and you have to apologize to everyone you made fun of and come clean to the burn book" Regina thinks and says "Fine"

    I smile and she tried to kiss me and I say "Not so fast the apologizing and owning up to the burn book needs to be done first" Regina groans and pulls out her phone and calls about 25 people when then I tell her just to do a live on tik tok.

    Regina does and it was sweet and about 20 minutes long. Then she also admitted on the live and called the school and got transferred to the principal and she came forward to the burn book which she got suspended for 2 weeks but just in time for the spring fling.

    I smile at Regina and after 50 minutes of all that she turns to me "Now may I have a kiss" I chuckle and lean down "Yes you may" The kiss we shared was beautiful and full of sweetness and nothing else. I smile and her mom comes back in and says "I can take her from here" I nod and put my hat back and and say "I'll visit you everyday" regina smiles and thanks me as I leave.

    I head back home where I felt that Regina has finally made an effort to regain her human status of popularity but in a nice way. People were still pissed at her but not too pissed to beat her up or anything. Damian forgave her and Karen and Gretchen Janis said she appreciated it but they aren't on friend levels.

    Then every day I visited Regina and made sure she was ok with Gretchen and Karen. I was happy to have us all four back to our regular couple days. Once Regina got out of the hospital she spent more time at my house. We all hung out together and our sex was still amazing not gonna lie.

    But even though through all of this we all came as a couple to the spring fling!
