Part 4

after your fun night with king julien, it's finally time for you both to part ways. 

he look at you with an admiring gaze

"see you soon y/n.." he said

you smiled back at him but it wasn't genuine.. you had a weird feeling after your night with him. you're not sure if he's really what you want you have some unresolved problems and traumas from past relationships and you're not just yet ready to settle for one man. (lemur in this case) y/n has been searching for jobs and she finally scored a job at a nice office where she works as an editor for newspaper. surprisingly the pay is very good , but she thinks it's because she's on her boss' good side, he thinks she's pretty and that he has a chance, she lets him believe that (you'd do it too for a check🤪) at this job she meets a lovely tall man, he's just other worldly gorgeous. he's 6 feet tall, has a small face, brown hair and eyes, he dresses well, his style is a bit simple but he makes it look so good. he's very soft spoken, he's a gentlemen, he's like a prince almost. y/n has found herself attracted to him more than she has ever felt for anyone else. 

                                                                                a few days later...

y/n and king julien haven't spoken much after their hook up, after all they aren't in a relationship or anything serious. just a few times he's texted her asking how she's doing but nothing more. meanwhile she's already forgetting about him. she wakes up happily every morning knowing she'll soon see her work crush. she thought today would be the day she asks him his name. 

                                                                               she arrives to work

once y/n walks in she sees her crush, she feels nervous but she gains the courage to go up to him, shockingly no one else seems to want him she might as well claim him now🙏 

"hello" she says quietly but over all the noise from everyone else's chatter this morning he hears her

"oh hi good morning!" he says to her in a sweet tone

y/n tries her best to keep a poker face while she's basically exploding inside over just the three words he said to her.

"good morning! i just wanted to introduce myself since i've been working here a few weeks but we've yet to speak😅,  my name's y/n it's nice to meet you" 

"nice to meet you too, my name is samuel i hope to see you around more y/n ."

he waves and walks off into his office, meanwhile y/n is still in shock about him. 

"omg he's even hotter up close!!" you thought to yourself, after a long day of quick glances and a goodbye at the end of your shift you were finally home,  you quickly got into the shower and watched tv , suddenly you got a call, it was julien... not knowing what was next you panicked but still picked up the phone. 

"hello?"

"hey y/n it's julien! i was just wondering how you've been doing it feels like it's been forever since we last talked."

"hey, yeah it has been a while hasn't it, i've been quite busy you know with work and all just trying to get myself situated.." 

"oh that's good for you, i just miss you.."

you don't know what to say, from the moment you answered the call, you felt your stomach drop to your ass. 

"yeah.. me too." you hesitated to say so.

"is everything alright you're being weird" he says in a worried tone but he manages to let out a giggle. 

"i'm fine i don't know what you mean." you don't want to talk to him. it just doesn't feel right anymore. but you don't want to hurt his feelings so you don't drop anything harsh on him just yet.

"hey, y/n i was wondering if we could maybe hang out tonight, i want to go on a walk with you. you know just us so we can catch up, and talk about us. 

you knew exactly how to answer this question.

"look i'm really tired today i think we can pick back up on all that some other time please."

you hung up after saying that, you didn't want anything to do with him anymore. although he was a good companion it could never be serious for you two..

after a long night of sleep you went to work the next day, only that today samuel arrived at the same time as you did, you looked him up and down before saying anything, but he took the words right out of your mouth before you could speak first.

"good morning y/n!" he said smiling brightly. 

he's so handsome you thought, you were practically melting at the sight of this man. he is just the best kind of eye candy there is out there. oh the things you'd do to this man.. anyway..

"hii samuel🥰" you said with a very sweet tone to your voice. 

"let's have lunch together, i want to get to know you better, y/n"

oh my days. you were about to piss yourself because there was no way this hottie just said all that in one sentence.

"of course i'd love that!" you said but the realized maybe you sounded a bit desperate. whateverr he asked you "out" first practically. 

you soon got to work but you could barely get anything done thinking about him and your lunch date. you counted the minutes as he was across the office acting quite normal. it was kind of a let down knowing he wasn't just as excited as you are but eventually he'll want you🙏

it's now lunch time at work and he walks over to you

"hey, let's eat out, my treat to you"

he was just too good to be true how could you reject this offer

"yeah i'd like that🥰"

you walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch

"so how long have you lived in nyc? i think we would've bumped into each other at least a few times but i guess i wasn't lucky enough until now."
