(Adelina POV)
'Of course V's brothers told her about me flinching this morning at the gym, ughh, that's annoying, I don't want them finding out. I don't mind V tho, she keeps me sane and sometimes she knows just exactly what I need or when something's too much. Love her for it' I think to myself as I get out of the shower, heading to my bed to grab the clothes that V put there and quickly put them on. They were some blue ripped jeans and a black oversized top, tucked in, and my high top airforces.
I brushed and dried my hair, admiring my now blonde hair, and put some light makeup on before making my way to Viola's room and knocking on her door. "Hey V? You ready?"
"Yuppp! I'm coming now, let's just go get some breakfast quickly!" She shouted from the other side of the door before quickly swinging it open.
I was slightly hesitant to go downstairs and see her brothers there after this morning but she nudged my shoulder, giving me a reassuring smile before linking our arms and making our way towards the kitchen. The most delicious smell ever was coming through the kitchen doors when we reached and Viola pushed them open, making a loud noise, but nobody turned towards us most likely used to V's antics by now, making me chuckle slightly, when Mrs Romero gave her a deadpanned look, spatula in hand.
When she saw me laugh, Mrs Romero's eyes twinkled slightly in amusement and she winked at me. "Mmmh chocolate filled pancakess!" V exclaimed, "mum I love you sooo much, have I ever told you that" she looked up at her mum with puppy dog eyes, making her mum chuckle giving both of us a plate.
"Hi Adeline! And yes many times mi Cara, I love you too, now here you guys are! Enjoy!" She smiled at both of us handing us our plates stacked with pancakes.
"Hi Mrs Romero! Please call me Addy, and thank you, these look delicious!" You see...I've seen what pancakes look like, but I've never tasted them before. And let me tell you....chocolate filled pancakes are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
"Ok Addy, please call me by name too no need for Mrs, it makes me feel old" she chuckled out, with a grin, reminding me of Viola's. "And enjoy!"
"Oh my god these are delicious!" I moaned out,"how have I lived so long without these!?" I exclaimed incredulously, looking at V, who just gave me a shrug and small smirk.
V's brothers chuckled at my reaction and Enzo replied "you're acting like you've never ate pancakes in your life!" He exclaimed chuckling, before seeing me give a look to V and scratch the back of my head. His eyes widened, along with his other brothers. "Wait what!?! How??" He asked shocked at the revelation.
I shrugged. "I don't know, I guess we just didn't get around to it" I brushed off the the suspicious looks I was getting from Leo and Gio after this morning, and continued eating my breakfast, me and V giggling at Enzo's frozen expression of shock.
(Time skip - after breakfast & at the mall)
Me and V made it to the mall, and let me tell you, the last 4 hours have been hell! One hour was enough for me to shop for everything I need, but V actually needs an intervention. She is definitely classified as a shopaholic, she needs to control her 'retail therapy' ASAP. She bought so many clothes that I don't know how they are even going to fit in her or my wardrobe at this point.
I of course paid for all my clothes, no matter how much she insisted that we should use her card because she could spend unlimited amounts of money from the mafia business and it wouldn't even put a dent in their wealth. Of course, I wasn't too bad off myself, but their level of wealth was crazy. All I wonder is where V got her shopaholic genes from, because I am 100% sure her mother does not enjoy shopping with her. Honestly her shopping habits could count as a skill at this point, 4 hours of shopping is like a workout.
"Ughhh V, I think we have enough clothes now! Let's go put these in the car and go grab some food before we head back." I groaned out at her, fed up with shopping, my feet ached, and my stomach was rumbling.
"Okok, jeezz shopping won't kill you" V rolled her eyes at my dramatics, but to be fair, my dramatics were a deserved reaction. I mean who shops for 4 hours! Anyways..."now that you say it I am getting hungry, I know a good place around the corner, let's go after we drop off the bags"
'Thank god' I thought, when we finally put the shopping bags down and turned around, making our way towards the food place V was talking about, before we heard a scream coming from an alleyway on the opposite side of the road, making us both snap our heads towards the noise.
We both gave each other a Quick Look, before making our way across the road and towards the alleyway, my gun and knives were strapped on my body where I always keep them since I left London. you never know when something could happened. V had her gun out and ready to shoot if anything went wrong, keeping a lookout at the ends of the alleyway for any police. She knows I can get messy, I smirked mentally.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I spoke calmly, but with a loud and cold voice that sliced through the air, making the 3 people who were struggling to pin a girl down to the wall turn their heads towards me and V.
"Oh look it's a little girl, coming to try save the day" one of them mocked making the others laugh along with him, while he pointed towards me. "What are you going to do little girl? We might as well take her too" he said turning to the others who nodded in agreement, acting like she wasn't there at all. She was used to this treatment from being so young nobody took her seriously, but they would learn to soon regret it. Nobody fucked with Quinn.
"I'll happily show you what I can do, don't worry" I cackled manically, making the men shiver in front of me and step back as I came forward, knife in hand as they began to charge towards me with their own weapons.
The first man, a short, chunky man with brown hair and a metal crowbar in his hand came towards me, swinging the bar for my head, making me duck and punch his throat, knocking his breath away and making him drop the crowbar. I landed two more punches, one on his stomach, and another on his face, which knocked him out cold.
The next two came at me at once, screaming and cussing me out for seeing their friend get beat up by a 'little girl'. I mean they were the ones who underestimated me, I never told them to, and now they're angry. Like, pick a side. I rolled my eyes as both of them ran towards me, I punched the first one, whilst the second one tackled me, making me grab his neck in a headlock while going down and kicking my legs into his stomach, flipping him over. I swiftly took my gun and knocked him out, whilst the last guy still looked messed up from the punch I gave him.
He took out his knife swiping towards me, making me dodge his advances and side step is outstretched hand with the knife, grabbing it and twisting it behind his back, kicking the underside of his knee and stabbing him in the stomach with his own knife in his hand. That would leave a nice scar and reminder.
I whispered in his ear "if you ever do something like this again, I will find you and kill you. Now grab your friends and leave before I send you to hell where you belong." He scurried away, his hand still holding the knife in his stomach, whilst me and V went to check on the girl still leaning on the wall.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked her. I mentally cursed at myself. Stupid question I know..
"T-thank you-you so much! I-if yo-you-" she cried out, making me and V shush her and hug her slowly for comfort.
"Don't worry, nothings going to happen to you, we will take you home now if that's alright with you" V said to her slowly, wiping her tears away.
The girl nodded. So we went and did just that, before going back to the house. I gave the girl my card and told her to call me if she ever needed help like that again, and I would come help her...

I feel like these chapters are just getting longer and longer lol. Let's see what happens.
What will happen when V and A get back to the house?
Will her brothers find out what happened on the shopping trip?
Will we find out who the other best friend is?
