*backstory*
when you y/n and your father
were walking through the valley of peace on a not so sunny day, your father decided to take you to the jade palace with an expressionless face holding your hand tightly because since he owed a lot of money to the rulers, he knew he would be killed and then...
"hey my little y/n?"
"yes, daddy?" you answer with a cute and innocent smile
"shall we play hide and seek?" he says shakily and sad
"yes!" you answer happily and with your tail wagging
He puts you in front of a tree and says "count to 100 and try to find me"
then when you start counting he starts to walk away knowing that you will be in good hands soon
*3 minutes later*
"1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10 here I come and I will not count to 100" then you start trying to look for him everywhere, but without success and you start to despair and then you think
he...he abandoned me? no...I'm freaking out a few minutes ago he was here you start screaming
"daddy stop playing seriously this is scary"
no response
"stop daddy seriously!!!"
no response
"please stop!"
no response
"don't leave me please... PLEASE!"
no answer again and you start crying
.......
after two hours a turtle found you and started talking to you
"girl what are you doing sitting there?" he says curiously
"me?....me.....I'm waiting for my dad why?~" you say crying softly and without hope
"and how long have you been there?" he says a little worried
"i don't know, i think 2 hours" you say without caring
"what's your name?"
"y/n sir, and what's your name?" he smiles
"my name is oogway, nice to meet you y/n-"
he interrupts seeing you shiver
"I'm starting to get cold, but no problem" you say crying but forcing a depressed smile
"ok, I'll say goodbye, bye y/n I hope what you're waiting for comes soon" he says with a knowing smile
"bye mister oogway" you say with a curious tone
he walks slowly to the palace giving you an opening to go with him, already without hope and with a broken heart and knowing that your father would not return you sneak in and walk around trying to find oogway again until you see another snow leopard being a male learning martial arts
you watch from afar hiding in one of the vases he seems to be my age you think but suddenly, you realize that oogway was watching you with a smile watching you look at the other leopard with admiration
"little girl, I see that You're looking at the other leopard, what got you interested in him, huh?"
"Hey Mr. Oogway, do you know who this leopard is?" You asked curiously,
"His name is Tai Lung, he's a little angry but he's skilled."
"Hhmmmm, good sir, I don't think my father will come back and I have nowhere to go, I know they can't accept me, but could I learn Kung Fu, please?
