It's a bright and sunny day for the students of College of Chewy Days. Yahaira hears her first alarm go off and stops it just to fall back asleep. She hears her third one go off and immediately gets up.
"I'm gonna be late... but that's okay I'll get ready fast," she thought to herself as she quickly stands up to get herself ready.
She quickly gets ready and texts her friend Reina.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" She types on her phone and quickly sends.
She waited a bit but no response. She sighs and shakes her head. Yahaira orders an Uber and waits for her driver to get there.
After waiting for a few minutes her Uber is finally here. She gets in the car and patiently waits to arrive at the university. Yahaira starts to scroll on twitter and noticed that Sabrina was releasing a new song on Friday.
"It's Monday so just a few more days until I can hear her new song!" She excitedly thought to herself.
After 10 minutes the Uber made it to the university so she gets out the car and thanks the driver as the driver drives off.
She runs quickly to the university but gets lost. There were too many hallways it looked like a maze. She sends another message to her friend Reina asking for help but still no response.
"Why isn't she helping me?" Yahaira starts to worry and checks the time.
"It's already 10:15 and class started 15 minutes ago..." she starts getting worried but sees a student reading a book.
"She's really pretty..." she thought to herself.
"I wouldn't want to bother her but I need help." Yahaira awkwardly goes up to her and taps her shoulder.
The girl takes off her airpods.
"Holy shart I didn't know she was listening to music." Yahaira thought to herself and felt bad.
"Hi sorry to bother but do you know where class 1b is?" Yahaira starts to sweat and felt nervous for bothering her.
"Sure! I can take you there." The girls quickly packs her things and tells her to follow along.
Yahaira quickly follows and walks behind her from a small distance. She wanted to give the girl space.
The girl quickly noticed and grabbed her hand calmly.
"You don't have to walk behind me, we can walk next to each other." She smiles at Yahaira and she notices that she has cute dimples.
After Yahaira started walking next to her the girl lets go of her hand.
"Her hand is really warm..." Yahaira thought to herself.
The girl stops walking and points at the classroom.
"Here's your class! I have to go now my friends are waiting for me." She waved goodbye to Yahaira and answers the phone call that was waiting for her.
Yahaira thanked her and waved goodbye.
"She was really nice, and pretty, and she had cute dimples. I wonder if I'll see her again." She thought to herself.
She takes a deep breath and opens the door.
The teacher shakes their head and tells Yahaira to take a seat.
"Class, don't be late on your first day! You, see me after class!" The teacher shouts.
Yahaira nods and goes to sit next to her friend Reina.
She writes down on a piece of paper and passed it to Reina.
"Why didn't you wake me up." Reina reads the note.
Reina looks at her with a confused expression on her face.
"What are you talking about?" Reina writes back.
"I got here late!"
"And I got here early so I couldn't use my phone cause the teacher was talking to me sorry!"
The teacher notices the two students writing back and forth.
"Do you guys want to share with the class?"
They both shook their heads and put the paper away.
"Okay, but because of that I'll let you guys talk, so now class turn and talk to your neighbor to get to know each other."
"Was it hard finding the class? I almost got lost." Reina says while scribbling on her notebook.
"So true it was like a maze. But I was able to get help from a nice girl."
"Really? She sounds nice, the people I saw when I got here looked unapproachable, the vibes weren't good." Reina started laughing at what she said.
"That's funny, but the girl was really pretty and nice and even though I bothered her she was still sweet to me." Yahaira started to think about her.
"Aww that's nice, what was her name?" Reina asks.
"Her name? I don't think I got her name." Yahaira frowned and shook her head.
"We could've had a new friend! You know it's just us two right now, another friend would've been fun." Reina shook her head too.
"I know but I hope I'm able to see her again." Yahaira sighs.
"Okay class times up! Wrap it up and let's go on with the lesson." The teacher claps her hands together and gets everyone to focus.
-After Class-
Yahaira goes up to the teacher. She remembered she got in trouble for being late.
"Why were you late? I could've marked you absent but I'm giving you a warning, don't show up that late again. Do you understand?"
Yahaira couldn't even explain herself but just sighed and nodded. She walked out of class and Reina was waiting for her.
"Start waking up from your first alarm, that helps me." She laughs at her own joke again.
"Thanks a lot Reina, at least we have some time before our next class, should we look for it right now?"
"Yeah I think we should, so we won't be late so let's go."
The two of them start looking for their next class but found it quickly.
"The signs seem pretty easy now that I think about it." Reina laughs.
"You're right, but at least we're here, let's go sit down over there while we wait for the class to start." Yahaira says while Reina nods and follows.
As they sit down, they hear a lot of laughter and chatting from the computer lab that's nearby.
"Sounds like they're having fun, must be nice to be popular." Reina says while scrolling through her edits.
Yahaira squints her eyes and notices something.
"Omg it was her over there! The one that helped me, I can see her from here."
Reina moves her head and sees from Yahaira's perspective.
"You talked to Deyanira!?" Reina was shocked.
