The morning sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow across Y/n's bedroom. The soft hum of a city waking up could be heard through the open window. A muffled voice broke the silence.
???: "Y/n, get out of bed and have breakfast!"
Y/n stirred under the covers, reluctant to leave the comfort of their bed. Another voice chimed in, closer this time.
????: "Yes, mom, aside from him."
Mom: "Ahhh!" (shocked) "How many times have I told you, Y/n? Don't show up out of the blue."
Y/n: "I apologize," (he peered down with a mask on).
Mom: "It's okay, smile. Why don't you go sit next to your father and eat with him?"
Y/n: "Alright," (moving slowly).
/Yes, I'm Y/n. I was resurrected 12 years ago after an accident where I was hit by a truck. Now I am here, in a Yu-Gi-Oh series where I still don't know exactly where I am. Based on the structures I've seen, I'm probably in Zexal or Arc V. One day, I woke up with a bunch of cards scattered around my bed. To my shock, they were all Number cards. I picked my favorites and built my deck. Some of them I'm still planning to use in duels, but not against my peers. So yeah, that's my story as to why I'm here./
???: "Son, are you finished eating so we can send you to school?"
Y/n: "Yeah, dad, I'm ready."
Dad: "Alright."
/So, despite being in an advanced grade, I continue to attend school. I'm currently in junior high. My mother told me last night that she enrolled me in a school not far from here./
The car came to a stop.
Dad: "We're here."
Y/n glanced at the school's front gate and was dumbfounded by what he saw.

Y/n: "Why am I here?"
Dad: "So, how do you feel? Do you find it interesting?"
Y/n: "(mumbling) No, I hate it."
Dad: "What?"
Y/n: "Dad, nothing. I said I enjoyed it."
Dad: "Wonderful! I must capture this and send it to your mother."
The car door opened, revealing two people: Reiji Akaba and another person who seemed to be his bodyguard or assistant. Y/n knew he had to be cautious around Reiji, knowing he had eyes everywhere.
Reiji: "Hello, Mr. Valentine," (bows down). "I'm happy you agreed to let Y/n learn with us at Leo Duel School."
Y/n: "Yes, you heard that, right? Being one of the wealthiest people here, Dad is getting respect from Reiji Akaba. I discovered a stack of papers when I was three years old and looked them up, so that's how I know this. Dad is well-known because all the money in his bank account comes from the businesses he owns."
