Chapter 2: Yuya Vs Dipper

In a dimly lit room, the excited voices of children filled the air as they gathered around a large monitor, eagerly awaiting the upcoming duel. Among them was a mysterious figure, Y/n Valentine, a young boy of ten years old, with an extremely introverted, shy, soft-spoken, and bashful personality. He preferred to stay away from the crowd, wearing a mask to hide his face and spending time alone rather than making public appearances.

Yuzu: (narrating) "Everything was normal until that day. Sylvio, our classmate, was ambushed and defeated by a Yuya look-alike. Because of this, the Leo Institute of Dueling chairwoman, Henrietta, used Sylvio's defeat as an excuse to take over You Show Duel School."

The room darkened, and the screen flickered to life, displaying the duel between Yuya and Dipper. Y/n stood at the back, his eyes peering through his mask as he observed the duel intently.

Yuya: (with determination) "I won't let LID buy You Show!"

Henrietta smirked, watching Yuya's spirited declaration. She leaned back in her chair, intrigued by the young duelist's energy.

Henrietta: "Let's see how long you can keep up that energy, Yuya. Dipper, show him your abilities."

Dipper: "With great pleasure, Madam Chairwoman."

Dipper began his turn by summoning "Constellar Algiedi" and "Constellar Kaus," quickly overlaying them to Xyz Summon "Constellar Pleiades." The room filled with a burst of blue light, captivating the young spectators.

Tatsuya: "Why does 'Pleiades' have a Rank instead of a Level?"

Sora: "That's because it's an Xyz Monster. It uses monsters of the same Level to Summon an Xyz Monster with an equivalent Rank from the Extra Deck."

Y/n's eyes narrowed slightly, understanding the mechanics of Xyz Summoning. He silently admired Dipper's strategy while remaining hidden in the background.

Dipper: "Let's see how you handle this, Yuya."

Yuya activated his Pendulum cards, "Stargazer Magician" and "Timegazer Magician," and Pendulum Summoned "Performapal Sword Fish" and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." His friends cheered, but Henrietta watched with a calculating gaze.

Henrietta: "So, this is Pendulum Summoning..."

Yuya: "I wasn't the one who attacked Sylvio, and I'll prove it by winning this duel!"

Dipper: "You won't be much of a challenge. Let's see what you've got."

Yuya activated "Sword Fish's" effect, reducing "Pleiades'" ATK and launching his attack. But Dipper, with a smug expression, used "Pleiades'" effect to return "Odd-Eyes" to Yuya's hand, causing Yuya to fall to the ground.

Tatsuya: "Odd-Eyes disappeared!"

Yuzu: "Yuya, get up!"

Y/n watched Yuya struggle, his fingers tightening around his mask. He felt a strange connection to Yuya's determination and resilience.

Sora: "Come on, Yuya, entertain us!"

Despite the setbacks, Yuya's resolve only grew stronger. He continued to search for Action Cards, dodging "Pleiades'" attempts to block him. The tension in the room heightened as Dipper summoned another "Constellar Pleiades" and used it to Xyz Summon "Constellar Ptolemy M7."

Henrietta: "You Show receiving Pendulum Summoning is merely a coincidence. Joining LID is in your best interest."

Yuya, now more determined than ever, activated "Performapal Revival" and saved himself from falling. His friends' cheers fueled his spirit as he managed to take an Action Card. But Dipper was relentless, activating "Constellar Tempest" to halve Yuya's LP during the End Phase.

Dipper: "I'll take you down in the next turn, Yuya."

Y/n's heart raced as he watched Yuya stand his ground, refusing to give up. Yuya's words echoed in his mind, igniting a spark of hope and courage within him.

Yuya drew "Performapal Trampolynx" and set up a daring move, Pendulum Summoning "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" once again. Dipper, thinking he had the upper hand, used "Pleiades'" effect to return "Odd-Eyes" to Yuya's hand. But Yuya was prepared, activating "Stargazer Magician's" effect to bring "Odd-Eyes" back to the field.

Frederick: "Odd-Eyes can defeat Pleiades with its double damage effect!"

Sora: "Yuya said it himself; the fun has just started."

Yuya swapped the ATK and DEF of "Stargazer Magician" and used "Magical Star Illusion" to boost his monsters' ATK. With newfound confidence, Yuya attacked, determined to win.

Yuya: "Press forward, 'Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon'!"

The room erupted in cheers as Yuya's attack landed, dealing a decisive blow to Dipper. Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for Yuya's perseverance and showmanship.
