Chapter 1 : Where there was once peace.

"Hah! Don't even imagine on catching up to me!"

Priel yelled from above the rooftops while holding a peice of bread, tucking in the rest in his pocket robes.

There he is, at it again..

Priel had a hobby of going out in peasant clothes, pretending to be a normal citizen while stealing and fooling around in the most frivolous ways possible.

"You- Kid! Come back down here this instant!" The street-vendor yelled harshly at him from below as he commanded.

"And who are you to think you can order me around, huh?" Priel replied as his mouth was full of the bread he had just stolen.

The street-vendor scoffed in annoyance, seemingly annoyed that he was just having a peaceful day when all of the sudden someone stole from him.

"Just you wait, I'm going to report you to The Feleinian Knights¹ and have you arrested!" He pointed at Priel almost as if he wanted to put a binding curse² on him.

Even though Priel had done his 'foolishness' plenty of times, he hadn't received severe punishment. Though, he had been scolded plenty of times..

As a man who never learns from his mistakes or just happens to does not care, he was used to being scolded.

The street-vendor ran off, disappearing in the distance.

Huh. He gave up. Ugh. Dammit, I was just having my fun annoying him... Priel pouted and sat on the edge of the rooftop and jumped down back to the bust street.

Priel had looked around, eating the bread he had freshly stolen. Of course, he was looking around finding someone to annoy once more.

Just as he was about to walk towards another stall to mock the owner, he was held from behind, his arms taken tightly.

"Hey! Goddammit! Let-...Let go of me!" Priel squirmed and wiggled around the knight's grip.

There appeared the street-vendor he had stolen from earlier..

"Hey! Damn you-" Priel looked like he wanted to internally curse his person both verbally and physically.

The knights searched around his pocket robes and returned all of the stolen goods to the street-vendor.

"Hmph! That's what you get you little bastard!" The street-vendor scoffed at him, feeling pleased that he got his stolen items back.

Bastard my ass. If you knew I was your 'so-so highly crown prince'³ you idiots call me, you'd be on your knees begging for my mercy and give all of your stuff to me ya punk! Priel thought.

He was brought to what the king and
call; home. Or so they did. Priel just thought of it as an excuse to show that your wealthy and rich.

After being held for a while, he was taken to the throne room for judgement.

"Mom! Dad! C'mon, tell them to get me out of their grip, it hurts like hell!" Priel pleaded at his parents as his father gestures them to let go of him.

The knights followed as they left the room, knowing they were about to scold the crown prince.

"Seriously Priel, how many times have we talked this through?" His mother, Madam Astellia sighed in annoyance as she pinched the bride of her nose.

"Such vulgar language cannot be used in this territory." His father, Emperor Rolian added.

"Can't we just speed this up and get to the part where I walk back to my room and get grounded?" Priel complained.

"Priel Hendrick. " Madam Astellia spoke up.

Priel almost shivered at her words, seeing how cold and scary her gaze was...

Jeez I can't believe dad even found the courage to marry you in the first place. Priel thought.

"This frivolous behavior cannot be prohibited in Feleinian Kingdom." She added.

"So you're going to kick me out? I don't think you can do that." Priel crossed his arms, maintaining the nonchalance of his expression.

Madam Astellia slammed her first to the arm rest of the throne, "You-"

"Your Majesty's!" A knight barged in the throne room.

"What?! Can't you see I'm disciplining my child?!" Madam Astellia yelled.

"But your majesty, We are under attack!"
