Y/n's POV:
I woke up to a familiar hoarse voice coming from the kitchen, chuckling to myself as I realised who it was. That singing was too recognisable for me to forget.
Getting up from my bed and putting a dressing gown over the black lingerie set that I was wearing. I also tied up my afro-textured black hair as I went downstairs and the well-known lyrics to a James Brown song was as clear as day. I tried not to laugh as I leaned against the doorway and saw my roommate Jeremy singing and dancing on the kitchen counter, in his own robe.
And he was preparing himself a strawberry milkshake.
I knew how famous Jeremy was – even though I was famous myself, being a social media influencer – and it didn't bother me at all. However, like most of his fans, I did find him quite attractive and handsome. Both his appearance and personality were stunning and charming to me.
As I tried to get my phone to record him, my eyes slowly widened at hearing his voice, saying my name. "Y/n. I know you're staring at me."
"Uhm- how long did you realise I was standing here?"
"About a minute."
Jeremy laughed softly as he slid off the counter and walked over to me, stopping me from getting out my phone.
"And there is no need to record me anymore..." I managed to take out my phone to try and record him, but he stopped me, putting one of his hands and slowly pushing my own hands down to prevent me from doing it.
"Pft! I was not gonna record you! I don't know what you're on about..."
"Are you sure about that? Then why do you have your phone out?" He raised an eyebrow at me, to which I just shrugged my shoulders.
I put my phone away and walked more into the kitchen, slightly pushing Jeremy as I walked away from him. I tried to reach for something in a high-up cupboard, however I didn't realise that Jeremy was behind me. Not until I felt a hand on my waist and deep, gentle breaths near my left ear.
"Don't worry, I gotcha." I didn't even look at Jeremy, but I knew he had a smirk on his face, so I softly snatched the cereal box out of his hands and started to make myself a bowl of cereal.
