Chapter 20

AN: Final Chapter! We have finally made it!

Arpine's P.O.V

"SHE SAID WHAT?!" Chloe screams. School has ended and I decided to visit her. Flairre nods her eyes glowing with rage again. You can feel the hear radiating off of her. "Flairre please. You need to cool down. We don't want you going full flame here. " Full flame is Flairre's power without a miraculous. She can turn into a full phoenix, and manipulate fire. "How can I? She threatened you! She actually threatened to hurt you. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't burn her alive!" I go into Chloe's kitchen and grab a bowl filling it with cool water. Grabbing Flairre gently, I sit her in it, causing steam to rise from the bowl. " Because if you kill her, how can we explain her death?. I whisper to her since Sabrina is on web cam. Flairre sighs and cools down. "I cannot believe she did that to you. She thinks we did this." says Sabrina on web cam. She is at home, sick and unable to visit in person. "What's with the bowl of steam?'' "Oh. The hot water is soothing on my hands keeping me calm.'' I say dipping my hands in the warm water. "Yeah she did threatened me. But she made a mistake." Drying my hands, I grab my phone. Lila's threat rings around the room. "You recorded her? Genius!" Says Chloe. "Thanks." "Hold up, turn the news up." Sabrina pointing to Chloe's tv. I grab the remote turning it up. The news is on. "And we now come to you with breaking news. The anonymous blogger posted a video about the ladyblog over the weekend. It has now gained over 10 billion views. The video appears to be questioning the ladyblog and its authenticity. Due to this video, an investigation has been launched into the owner of the blog, Alya Césaire. Furthermore, the video reports that Lila Rossi, a Gabriel Agreste model is also fabricating stories about many celebrities, including Jagged stone, and Prince Ali. More to come soon. " I jump and down with glee. "Yes! Our plan worked! It actually worked!'' Chloe grins as well as Sabrina. "Soon Liar Rossi will be out of our lives for good. " My phone rings and its Mari. I answer putting it on speaker. "Please tell me you watched the news!" "Of course I did." "Was this apart of your plan? To get Alya in jail?" She asks me. "OF course not! My plan was for her to see the error of her ways and to see that Lila is a liar. I was not expecting an investigation to launched into her and the Ladyblog. " "Oh. I see. Either way She gets what she deserves. Good news. My parents saw the news and are rethinking everything. They want to see how the investigation plays out before sending me away." '"That's great! I hope everything works out!" "Me too. I gotta go. Mom want help in the bakery." "Bye!" She hangs up. "You haven't told her about how we helped with the plan yet did you?' Chloe asks. "Not yet. I plan on telling her once everything is over." Chloe nods.  We continue to talk about the investigation as we get to school. Flairre sits on Chloe's shoulder.  First time I ever rode in a limo. I had to fight the blush every time Chloe looks at me. We both get out but no one notices and Flairre hides in my jacket. We get to class and Ms. Bustier is there with an announcement. "There will be a assembly today to address the investigation." At this Alya shrinks on herself as every pairs of eyes turn to her. Lila glares at me and I smile sweetly at her.  The lesson starts and soon the announcement comes on for us to go to the assembly. We file out and sit in the auditorium. Chloe sits next to me and facetimes Sabrina so she can watch. Principal Damocles takes the stage and clears his throat. "As you may have heard, an investigation has been launched into a few of our students. We hope that this does not reflect badly on our school. Lying and slander are not tolerated here at this school. However, my actions are also at fault. I did not take into the account of another student in relation to an intendent that happened here, resulting in that student becoming expelled hastily. As such, I apologize for my actions. I have called the students parents and will meet with them after this assembly. I want to call up to the stage a few celebrities whom one of our students have claimed to meet. This includes Jagged stone and Prince Ali." They both take the stage. Jagged goes first. "As he stated, lying is never cool. Even if you want popularity, its better to be honest. The lies that this student claimed about me are outrageous and could have ruined my career. Luckily this was caught in time. I plan on taking legal action so this does not happen again." He passes the mic to Prince Ali who echoes the same message. The assembly concludes and we head back to class and Alya and Lila stay back with the principal. We get back inside and meet Mari there. I hug her. "He allowed me to come so we can present the project." " I am so happy! How are you?" "Happy that Lila is exposed." She turns to the class. "I tried to warn you guys but you would listen. You all called me jealous and a bully. You guys have known me for years. You know I would never hurt anyone. I have been ridiculed and bullied by Chloe for years and not once raised my hand against her. She changed and became my friend. My cousin has only been at this school for a few months and even she saw through Lila's lies. I feel like only her and Chloe I can trust. But Adrien also was there for me. So he also regained my trust. Even though I forgive you, I won't be able to trust everyone yet." She says kindly. Everyone nods in agreement and presentations start. Soon its our turn. Mari comes up and removes her jacket revealing the outfit she chose to represent Gabriel Agreste.
