Shivansh's pov :

As I entered into the haveli my gaze fell on ma who was talking with someone on phone . I silently walked towards her and hugged her from behind. I thought she would be startled and scream but she just placed her hand above mine and continued talking . I stayed like that until she finished talking and turned to face me .
But what she did made me utter shock she held my ear and twisted it hard making me wince " sssss.... Ma what are you doing " she just glared at me and left my ear , by the end it turned red and i was rubbing it . " what is this shiv , is this how you behave . What's with your irregularity, never come home regularly, always stay out of town " with this she started scolding me but i just again hugged her and she got relaxed and hugged me back . " iam sorry ma but I had a meeting so I left otherwise you know me " i said. " yeah i know you , ki aap kitne masum hai " she said , note the sarcasm .

I broke the hug and said " ma kya banaya hai , iam really very hungry " she said " you go freshen up I will reheat the food " I nodded and left towards my chamber in the palace .
I quickly took a shower and changed into my sweats and came downstairs. Ma was already bringing dishes out from the kitchen and arranging them on the dining table.
I sat on my chair and she served me the dinner . Aroma of the food filled in my nostrils and i got the hint that she made my favourite daal tadka with fried rice .
I rubbed my hands together and started savouring my food whereas ma chuckled at my antics .

After completing my dinner i walked towards my dada sa's room to meet him . I knocked on the door and heard come in . I entered inside and saw that he was resting on the bed . I walked towards him , sat beside him and started massaging his feet .
He lovingly placed his hand on my head and caressed my hair .
" how are you dada sa " i asked him . He just smiled at me which cost me more than million dollars and nodded his head . After that we sat in comfortable silence and I continued to give him massage , eventually he fell asleep I quietly made him sleep comfortably and covered him with blanket. I walked out after closing the door behind me without making any noise .

I went straight to my room's balcony and lit a cigar and took a deep puff and started gazing at the stars until my cigar stick came to an end . I went back inside the room and lay down on the bed but sleep was far away to be found . Feeling uncomfortable with my tshirt I took it off and threw it somewhere. After what felt like eternity sleep engulfed me but not for long time .
I woke up due to uneasiness because yes i can't sleep easily like normal person. I glanced at my phone for time and saw it was 6 in early morning , I got off the bed and walked towards the zym for workout. With in short time veeransh , avyaan and yuvaan too joined the zym.

" happy birthday avi and yuvi , your gifts will be arriving soon " i said to them and as always my brothers beemed with joy and togetherly jumped on to me causing me to take a step back. I chuckled at their childishness and patted their back.

After completing my workout I went to my room and was about enter the bathroom to take a shower but my phone rang grabbing my attention. I walked towards the table and saw my PA arvind calling me . I answered the call , he wished me and informed me about my todays schedule. I just hummed and said " cancel all my meetings after 6pm " and cut the call .

I took a shower and wore my formal black suit , wore my wrist watch took a handkerchief and shoved it in my pocket , settled my hair and sprayed my cologne on my wrist and neck with this I got ready and joined everyone at breakfast table . Everyone was discussing about today's party . I wished morning to everyone , had my breakfast and left for the office.

I was having back to back meetings without any break , after making my schedule clear and completing the meeting , I glanced at the time which striked 3.40 pm , I was just wrapping up my things when my phone rang , it was avni , I answered the call and she said " bhai aap kab aaoge , aap mujhse mile bina he office chale gaye that's not fair , iam mad at you " and i know what was coming, " bacha you were sleeping so thought not to disturb you , and I brought you a gift from Mumbai "
I spoke softly. If any of my employees or business associates would have seen this then they might surely get a severe heart attack.

" bhaiiiiii , come fast i can't wait now " she squealed excitedly. " coming kiddo , now iam hanging up " i said and cut the call .

I informed my PA about my departure and also instructed him to place our most trusted and skilled bodyguard around the haveli , also tighten the security at the entry point and exit points.

I entered into my personal elevator and reached my garage where my driver was ready with my bodyguard.
I sat inside the car , closed my eyes and rested my head on head rest as the day was really hectic.
My bodyguard offered me water and i took few sips .

After exactly 35 mins we reached our haveli , hustle - bustle was going on everyone was running here and there and making arrangements for the party. Amidst all this i saw veer was standing at a corner and lost somewhere, i followed his line of sight and saw one girl talking to some workers probably instructing them about the work . I walked towards him silently and kept my hand on his shoolder , his trance broke and he looked at me in confusion , I pointed my index finger at that girl and raised my eyebrows indirectly asking him to  ' care to explain what's happening here '

He gave me a nervous smile and shook his head saying " its nothing bhai , its just i was thinking about something " I observed that his ears had turned red and he was avoiding the eye contact with me . I got my hint and decided to let it go for now . I nodded at him and entered inside .

As soon as I entered avni came running to me screaming on top of her lungs " bhaaiiiiiiii " and hugged me .
I too reciprocated the hug with same intensity. I saw nivanshi was watching us from few distance, she is very introverted and always hesitate to ask things . I forwarded my other arm indicating her to join the hug . She slowly walked towards me and hugged me . I sensed some wetness on my shirt . I look down and saw nivi crying , I panicked and asked " hey nivi , baby what happened why are you crying " she just shook her head and nuzzled her face more into my chest . I held her tightly and rubbed her back , after some time she was calm . Now i asked her " nivi is something troubling you , you can tell me i will take care of them ."

She looked at me with tear filled eyes and said " bhai you bought gift for di but not for me " . As I listened to her attentively but still took few seconds to register what i have listen is correct pr not. " bhaaiiiiiiiii" nivi's voice broke my trance .

"Huh...... what made you think like that , when i buy gifts i buy them for everyone, i bought for you too . And you silly crying over a small thing " i said . She just gave me her dimple smile and hugged me again.
And next second i was pulled by both my sisters asking me to reveal thier gifts.
Next 1 hour passed like that and then we were asked to get ready for the party.

I entered my room and saw few men were present there.
I stared at them before asking coldly " what are doing in my room " . They seemed afraid and one of them stuttered " we.....we were called h...he..here to repair th..the AC "
I rubbed my temple and took a deep breath to calm my self , grabbed my outfit and stormed towards study room , because guest rooms were already occupied by guests and now only that room was available to get ready .

I took a bath and came out wrapping a towel around my waist. Just when i was above to get ready someone knocked, i thought it would be ma , may be AC work is done and came to call me . I said " come in "

But then a girl entered in her formals , and all that useless banter took place , i was really pissed off because of her.
As if it was not enough that again in living room she behaved as if she was here to stole something as she was carefully checking out the surroundings. Amidst all this ma entered the scene and noticed her and conversed with her.The way ma was talking to her , it seemed they were quiet comfortable with each other but that small rabbit was not agreeing with ma that made my suspicions grew on her , at last she agreed and went away.
