After that first class, Evelyn hasn't really seen Harry. They have seen each other in the hallways but she always ignored Harry's gaze. She was so mad that he didn't care enough about her as much as she cared about him.
That was the worst class she has ever had and he didn't care it was because she was thinking of him. Of what he has gone through.
"Hey, you okay?" Cedric asked. The only very good thing that has been happening in her life, was that Cedric has been very nice to her and she felt happy when she was with him. They were not official yet, since they were still getting to know each other and haven't had their first date yet, but she was still happy.
"Yeah, just a bit tired." She replied. Cedric knows what happened in that class since some of his younger hufflpuffs friends told him, and she hasn't talked about it with him.
"I know what happened." He finally said as he sigh and stopped walking, making her stop too. "Some of my younger friends told me..."
Just that comment made her eyes become watery. The way it brought bad memories back. Memories that wasn't hers, but from her parents stories.
Of that horrible night that Harry's parents had to go through. That Harry had to go through.
"You can talk about it. You can trust me."
Something in her made her realize that she was indeed shutting him off for no reason. Cedric hasn't shown anything but kindness to her.
So she told him everything that she was feeling, she told him all about Harry's past and how it affected her family, Harry didn't even knew about it.
"Hey, hey it's okay." Cedric said when she finished telling him everything pulling her into a hug. "Do you want to know the bright side?" She nodded so he could continue "I know more things about you now."
She smiled a bit at his comment and hugged him again. She loved his hugs, it made her feel safe.
She loved hugs in general if she was being honest.
"Are you ready to go to class?" He asked her after a few moments, letting her dry out her tears.
"Yeah, let's go." He smiled at her from his side so she couldn't see.
Somehow, he admired her. He knew just by this short amount of time of getting to know her that she was feeling so many things but yet she always managed to smile, even when she felt like her whole world was crumbuling into pieces.

In the evening, Evelyn was able to come to her senses and made a deal with herself that she would talk to Harry today. The first task of the tournament was going to be soon and she wanted him to know that she didn't hate him. On the contrary.
"I'm gonna look for Harry. I should talk to him." She told to Cedric and he nodded, undersating that it would make her happy.
Cedric wanted to be good for her and understand her relationship with Harry. Although there was a part of him that felt jealous, he didn't want to be that kind of guy.
Evelyn was lucky to find Harry with Neville by the lake. She quickly went to him and once he saw her, he was about to ignore her but she was faster.
"You need to stop ignorning me Harry." Harry looked a bit shocked that she has talked to him that way. She sounded very angry. And she was, she felt angry and upset that he was seriously ignoring her. "Can you excuse us Neville?"
Neville nodded and she took Harry's wrist and pulled him to a side so Neville couldn't hear. "Now why on earth are you ignoring me? We didn't even fight but it feels like it."
