Engel has been acting odd in school for a few weeks now, he didnt know he was changing. It was going too fast for him to notice. He'd always been this way, he thought.

People started looking at him in fear, backing away when he walked down the hall, and spreading rumours about him.

They couldn't forget about what Engel did to Claire. No one would say anything about it, though. They were too scared to utter a word to Engel.

Engel had forgotten about the incident. He ran up to claire with a cheerful smile, but Claire quickly backed away.

Engel yelled after her.

Engel: "Claire! Where are you going? C'mon, stop messing around!"

"What is up with that girl recently..?" He thought to himself.

She hadn't been the same recently.

Or was it him that was the problem?

He quickly shook the thought out of his head. He couldn't be the problem. He was perfect just the way he was. But even his teachers were weary of him! Well, they didn't really like any students in the first place. Maybe he's just insecure.

He eventually got home, tired from the school day, having no one to talk to. Even his own best friend wouldn't talk to him.  He ignored his mother speaking to him when he walked in and went straight to his room. He took off his backpack and shoes, faceplanting onto his bed and groaning into his pillow. He was tired of being ignored. He laid in his bed, staring at the back of his eye lids. He came to the conclusion that he was the problem.

"No, I can't be the problem."

He walked to the bathroom and leaned over the sink, splashing cold water on his face, when he suddenly caught a glimpse of the mirror.

Where was he? He wasnt in that mirror. Then he realized. That was him.

He didnt recognize himself anymore.

No, that cant be right. That can't be him. He frantically slashed water on his face, praying he was just imagining things. But it wouldnt go away.

What had he become..?

NOTE FROM AUTHOR: hey guys! Just wanted to pop in here to promote my other series, Flowers of Mania! It is an original project of mine, and considering the oneshots you guys have liked the most, I think a majority of you guys would love it. It is a sort of psychological horror based story around three boys, Elliot, Noah, and Evan who live together and have to get through this nightmare together.
