:Chapter 1: A Blizzard

The weather in Magnolia was horrifyingly cold and winds were high mixed in with heavy snow and hail. The people of Fairy Tail were stuck there until the storm let up, which it wasn't if anything, it was getting worse.

Lucy's POV

The storm wasn't getting any better at all. It seemed that it was not done with destroying the towns plants.... oh well. At least the buildings don't get destroyed. I sighed and took another sip of the hot cocoa that Mira gave me. I looked over towards one of the tables where Gray and Juvia were sitting. As usual, Juvia was flirting with hearts in her eyes and her face was red with blush. But I could've swore I have seen Gray's face turned the slightest shade of pink as he was trying to ignore Juvia's requests with going on a job together, boy, was he failing miserably. At this rate he should give in. The doors suddenly burst open letting the snow fly inside. There stood a girl in a ripped dark cloak that covered most of her. I assume that was the only piece of clothing she had on. She stepped in the guild hall. "Where is your Master? I need a place to stay." She said in a demanding tone. I could've swore her tone of voice had some fear in it. She was panting probably from running. I got up and ran towards her. "Are you okay? Are you hur-" "Where is your master!" She demanded. She looked at me expectantly with her brown eyes. "He is in the office over there." I pointed towards his office and she muttered a quick "thank you" and walked over there. When she went inside, I shut the guild doors and had Natsu burn the remaining snow.
A few minutes later, the master walked out with the mysterious girl.
"Hey brats! I would like to introduce you to our newest member of Fairy Tail, Welcome Tsura Xhatte! Now I expect you brats to treat her as one of our own. That's all for now."

Tsura's POV

I've had problems but this really takes the cake. Why did I join this guild if I knew everyone was going to smile at me and welcome me to their so called "home"? All I wanted to do was go die in a hole. I have so much going on in my head.. I should've just kept walking.
Then this blond girl walked up to me and I scoffed. "Hi, my name is Lucy, you said you were looking for a place to stay?" Lucy smiled warmly. I felt sick at the sight of warmth. "It's not like I'm desperate! I can go sleep in the storage room or something..." I scoffed. Lucy's smile turned to a small frown and her eyes grew worried. "The storage room wouldn't be too comfortable, now would it?" Lucy asked. "I don't need comfort or luxury to live..." I said. Lucy's frown turned bigger. "Even with those bruises you have? Even with those rags for clothing you have? The storage room won't do crap." Lucy sternly said. My eyes widened. Damn she's clever... "Come stay at my place. I got plenty of food... hopefully.." Lucy then shot a glare at Natsu, who was sitting at the bar. Lucy turned back to me. "So what do you say?" Lucy held out her hand. I took a deep sigh and shook her hand. "Fine..." I said. Lucy smiled. "Then let's go, the guild will be closing soon and this blizzard let up a bit, not only that I want to get there before Natsu does." Lucy said. I nodded my head and we both headed out, saying our goodbyes.
