Some time had passed at the dance and (Y/n) was still on the dance floor with Wally. Robin's jealous gaze never leaving the pair even as Kitten tried to get his attention back on her. Robin's glare only hardened towards Wally as Kitten's high pitched voice rang through his head. The large smile under (Y/n)'s mask showcasing just how much fun she had been having with Wally.

Robin's mood seemed to worsen as he heard a slow song start. Wally was quick to grab (Y/n)'s hand and pulled her in by her waist so they could dance together. The hero was able to see Wally's mouth moving and (Y/n)'s shoulders shrugging up and down as she laughed. Having enough of no one paying attention to her, Kitten decided to take matters into her own hands.

"Ask me to dance!" She whisper yelled to the hero. Robin stopped his repetitive movement of leaning the chair back and forth to glare down at the idea from his so called date. "I don't dance." Robin said with a scowl making Kitten roll her eyes.

"Cmon Robbiepoo! You've never, ever danced before?" Kitten asked as she stood in front of him trying to pull him to the dance floor. Robin managed to get his hands free from her and placed them right back over his chest. "Tried it once, didn't like it."

"Fine! Then I can have the whole city destroyed!" Kitten said pulling out her pink phone ready to make the call. "Or we can skip straight to the kissing." Kitten said with a smirk making Robin hate the words that were going to come out of his mouth.

"Wanna dance?" Robin asked making Kitten's smirk widen. The hero let out a yell as he was dragged onto the dance floor next to Wally and (Y/n). "Oh, Robin! Of course, I'd love to dance with you!" Kitten said loud enough for the whole ship to hear making everyone else around them move away.

"I see you've finally come to join us, Robin." (Y/n) said with a soft smile under her mask. Robin's eyes couldn't seem to leave the hand that was attached to (Y/n)'s waist. "Took you long enough!" Wally said with a laugh before releasing the hand around (Y/n)'s waist to make her do a small spin making a laugh slip through her lips. Robin quickly noticed the rose on her wrist becoming yellow with red tips.

The song, thankfully, ended quickly for Robin. The feeling of Kitten's arm around his neck made him extremely uncomfortable and he was ready for the night to be over with.

"Okay, that's over." Robin said pulling away from the girl pulling her arm off his neck. He was already heading back to his seat when the soft music picked back up again. "Oh, goodie! Another slow dance!" Kitten said as she pulled Robin back into her. The hero didn't even notice the pairs of eyes staring at him.

"I feel bad for him, Walls." (Y/n) said as her gaze couldn't seem to leave Robin and Kitten. "It's just a date, Bloom. We've all had bad dates before. It's like part of the Bible I think." Wally said as he kept his gaze down at his friend as she let out a light laugh.

"I don't think that's right." (Y/n) said making Wally shrug his shoulders. "So...what's with you two anyways? Your old friend has been glaring me down all night." Wally said making (Y/n) tilt her head to the side confused. "What do you mean?" "I mean friends don't look at each other like that, thornberry. I don't look at you like that and you don't look at me like that...so what's the deal? You got something you're not telling me? Your best friend?" Wally confronted making pink roses appear under the black mask and around (Y/n)'s wrists as well.

"I-I have no clue what you're talking a-" "(Y/n), I can feel a rose from your hand on the back of my neck. Not to mention the pink poking out of your mask." Wally stated making the girl look down at the floor underneath them embarrassed. From how the girl has spoken about the hero and the color of roses, Wally had a small idea about what was going on with her. A soft breath left his nose as he placed his forehead against hers.
