Nothing much happened in the town, they worked shifts to prevent the world from dying. When the sun exploded the world shrivelled into a dark, twisted place, not just the land became dark and twisted but the people who lived there. They thought only of themselves as many of them died when the sun blew to bits. The world remained like this until people decided to change the world and with the help of scientists, discovered a way to let light into the dark world, this people were called light keepers. Though it always rained, but the rain was what gave them light. They had machines that would send electricity imto the rain which would sink into the earth, the whole ground would glow.
Before the light keepers came, when the world was dark, the dark spirits of the world took over bodies and a whole new species was created. These things started off powerless and weak but they grew stronger, the spirits inside them grew hungry, they had an animal like behaviour. These spirits were monsters they were a threat to humans but the humans didn't know that at the time. The spirit monsters would come in packs or sometimes alone. The male spirits were not patient, they would eat the humans in the night straight away but the females had other ideas. You see these spirit animals were stunning with their white skin, black eyes and hair, but the female spirit monsters were much more stunning than the males, they were flawless. They would lure the human men and men being men could not resist these beautiful creatures. The men would kiss them and invite them into their homes but the females didn't like this, they started to get sick so they disposed of the men. Little did they know that they would have a child, you see, the saliva of the human would intoxicate them, which triggered a nerve near their stomachs to produce a womb like thing. When the child was born the females would throw them into the sky as an offering to the Gods they believed in, but the spirit babies landed in towns for they would not go far into the sky. This is the story of, perhaps, the most interesting spirit child.
