It was raining so hard when I entered the familiar coffee shop I used to frequent in the past. I had stopped coming here after ending the relationship, but recent events had left my mind in disarray. Seeing her after 2 years brought back memories, reminding me of what I had done.
I ordered my usual coffee and as I was looking out of the window the rain is hitting the window I can't help but think of that day....

As Jungkook stood in the bustling coffee shop, waiting nervously for his order, the sweet melody of a familiar song drifted through the air. Suddenly, memories flooded back to a rainy day years ago when he and his former partner, Y/N, had sought shelter in a cozy cafe much like this one.
In the flashback, the rain tapped gently on the window panes as Jungkook and Y/N sat across from each other, their hands intertwined. Their laughter filled the air, creating a bubble of warmth amidst the storm outside. Y/N's eyes sparkled with mischief as she teased Jungkook, who couldn't help but smile at her infectious energy.
As they sipped their steaming cups of coffee, Jungkook reached across the table to brush a stray hair from Y/N's face, his touch gentle yet filled with unspoken affection. In that moment, time seemed to stand still as they shared a silent understanding of their deep connection.

Jungkook's POV
" penny for your thoughts." Rita said.
" oh sorry I didn't see you coming, just a bit stress with work and all you know " I replied.
I didn't even see her coming, she is always like that very attentive and always ready to grab the opportunity, not in a good way.
" I heard you helped mira in the company yesterday, I clearly told you to stay away from her didn't I?" She started complaining.
" damn rita, she was your bestfriend how could you do this to her, what do you think she will do once she knows the real reason of our breakup, if you have any conscience at all you would at least let her be now, I am not giving her any attention and also it was work purpose so I cant deny." I let out my frustration.
" oh jungkook, you know sometimes I wonder how less you know about me, I always get what I want by now you should know that too, if I hear any incident of you guys being together I will pay a little visit to my bestfriend, you want that right? " she threatened me.
" don't ever go near her rita, I am doing everything you say, only if you stay away from mira, okay I will be careful not to get involved in her again but dont do anything stupid rita because this time I wil-"
" you cant do anything jungkook, you know it too, leave it let's just enjoy our coffee in this cafe by the way why you wanted to come here though.." she asked.
" no reason, I saw the ambience is good here , I just wanted to visit that's it now let me have my coffee peacefully." I said.
I don't know how she knows about everything I do sometimes it is scary, that's the reason I am always rude to mira because I can't hurt her and I know rita she can go extreme, I don't know why she is so obsessed with me, she just dont get the hint that I don't want to be with her.
Mira' s POV
Finally everything is going smoothly thanks to jungkook, I never thought he would agree easily
" hey" I said.
" hi " he replied.
" can I talk to you right now, it is very important." I asked..
" okay let's go to other room." He said and I followed him.
" I know you dont like to see me but I promise this is really urgent and It would be great if you help me." I talked mindlessly because of my nervousness.
" mira breathe!! Say again what is it you want me to do." He said
" If it is not too much to ask can you do a reaction video of new girl group NEW JEANS , they are really good jungkook I really want them to succeed, it would really help them a lot " I said.
" didn't they just released their single?" He asked.
" yes , but unfortunately they were accused of plagiarism, and getting hate ...you know how people are..." I said.
" oh really, I know how much this affects them, okay I will do the reaction video , when you want me to do it ?" He asked.
I am amazed by his consideration, like I never thought he would be this understanding he used be like this when we were in relationship....ok I cant think about it now.
" if you are free now we can do it right away." I said.
" okay then ,let me get my things I already completed my work so let's go" he said moving to the door.
" okay then come to the practice room after you are done I will be there." I said and left him.
I still cant believe that he agreed , I feel so emotional right now, I gather my thoughts and went to practice room and there I told my team that jungkook will be doing the reaction video and they were so relieved and excited at the same time.
After the reaction video jungkook came to me and asked if there anything he could do and I said it was more than enough, like really he did great help and I promised to treat him to a meal to which he laughed and said have it my way, it feels good weirdly but I didn't think much about it though.
Now that I think about it jungkook is acting weird, that day he was rude to me but yesterday he was so calm and talking to me as if we are bestfriends , I can never understand that guy.
" let's go home, I am so tired." Ae-ra said.
" okay let's go I am almost done let me just send this email." I said.
She is so tired I can see that, so I dont her to wait, inconoleted the work and packed my things then we walked together to the lift.
" how about eating out today I dont have strength to lift a finger." She said
I laughed and agreed to her even I dont have the strength to cook for us.
As we were exiting the building I saw jungkook and someone is hugging him I cant see from this distance, but when he started walking towards the company I saw her and I froze she saw me and smirked, I never thought I can see her, she is looking at me as if challenging me to do something, but ae-ra already called the cab and dragged me away , she know her and also about the breakup.
I cant believe it is real I just heard it in the news but really seeing them together is more painful that I thought.
" don't cry mira, its okay, everything will be fine" ae-ra said
I am crying? I didn't even know I was crying, this shit hurts so much.i really hope everything is going to be okay.
