Authors POV:

As the gentle sunlight bathed the room in a warm glow, Jungkook and Mira found solace in each other's company, their laughter filling the air with a sense of ease and comfort. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, weaving a tapestry of shared moments and dreams.

The unexpected ring of the doorbell shattered their tranquillity, prompting Mira to excuse herself and answer the door, leaving Jungkook with a sense of apprehension tingling at the back of his mind.

To his surprise, Rita, Mira's best friend, stood at the threshold, her eyes lingering on Jungkook in a way that spoke volumes. There was an intensity in her gaze, a silent plea that went unnoticed by Mira but didn't escape Jungkook's keen observation.

"Hey, Jungkook," Rita's voice was honeyed but held a hint of something more, a subtle undercurrent that set Jungkook on edge. "I didn't know you'd be here today."

Jungkook managed a polite smile, his guard subtly rising as he replied, "Yeah, just came by to spend some time with Mira."

Rita's eyes flickered with a mix of emotions, her gaze lingering on Jungkook a moment too long before she turned her attention back to Mira, who was now engrossed in catching up with her friend.

Throughout the afternoon, Jungkook and Rita exchanged polite small talk, each word carrying an unspoken tension that danced between them like a silent waltz. Rita's lingering glances and carefully chosen words hinted at a desire that threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of the cosy day Jungkook and Mira had hoped to share, a tension that simmered beneath the surface, waiting to be acknowledged.

Jungkook's POV

Rita: "you should see her face when she saw me! Like damn I never thought about it before but that was hilarious,  just like a little kid whose candy was taken ."

I am already annoyed by her presence and she needs to say the most heartbreaking thing like a joke, she is a heartless person I know it but damn to think she could go that far, I feel like I am somehow reason to it but I cant help it now.

I didn't say anything just drinking my whiskey and looking at the fire , it somehow calms me.

Rita: "okay now I am really sad that you are ignoring be or pretending you didn't hear what I said , anyways I am leaving see you again also you should announce about our engagement soon, you know people are waiting jungkook."

Jungkook : "never in your wildest dreams,  you think I will marry you, rita we have a deal you dont involve in my personal life and I dont involve with any of your matters , do whatever you can, you won't change my mind."

Rita:" so you are listening, about the engagement,  we will see about that, dont miss me , bye honey muah"

She said with her annoying voice and left I didn't even look at her once,  all iam thinking is about mira, how did she even had her as a friend, like the girl walk , talk all is evil I can sense it from a mile, damn I am planning on something hope she won't suspect anything.

Just hang in there mira, everything will be fine , I will make her pay ...you just wait and see, all our sleepless nights the thinks we didn't deserve,  I will make sure she suffers a bit more.

A little tear escapes my eye as I was thinking about her , how she felt when she saw me with rita, I am sorry love...

Mira's POV

I am watching the rain from the window of my bedroom, the city is looking busy people are running because of sudden rain, I was watching a couple running with the boy holding his jacket on both of their heads...I smiled to myself looking at them.

Sighing i left the window to get something to eat, I should go to work tomorrow, I took a leave today as I couldn't face jungkook after what I saw , not because I was mad at him because it hurts to see him so successful and happy with her and i feel so bad that he couldn't find that comfort with me but her.

Thinking about how everytime he had a concert or practice he would come to me complaining about the muscle aches and also sharing  because of his members he had to practice more time, I laughed remembering how innocent and cute he looks when he says that, but now he always has this dark aura and eyes with no light, wiping my tears I go to microwave to rehear the food ae-ra cooked for me.

I turn on the tv to distract myself and also I need something to watch while I eat.

" Bts makes their comeback with dynamite and hits the records again! Let's hear it from them how it went, so RM how did you come up with idea ?."

I am just watching it with no thought..I know every other channel will have their news as their single is on fire now.

" because of covid we were trapped in our homes and we thought of something exciting to release that's how dynamite was made, we thank all of our fans , they did this not us, I hope they find the song as exciting as we did."

I always admire him  because of the way he carries himself and also the way interpret the situations, that man has a great brain.

" so jungkook, you know that because of you the selling rate of milk is increasing drastically,  because you drank milk in the music video."

I dropped my spoon the bowl as I saw him in the screen, he looks tired although you cant see it much you can notice the eyes, even his smile says he is tired.

" I didn't know it would be like that, I just did what I was told." He replied simply.

" whatever you superstars does goes viral " interviewer laughs

They probably noticed he didn't want to talk more, but why is he like that.

" I heard you are engaged with your girlfriend is that true." She asked.

I dont know why but I felt like jungkook is looking at me from the screen , like directly looking at me, he wasn't surprised by the question which means he knows they will ask.

" I didn't know word will spread this fast but yeah, we are engaged now."

My heart just stopped for a second, they are engaged, ofcourse they are, they love each other what do you expect after he saw you he will come running back, my subconscious answers me instead.

I turned it off, I cant take it anymore, why should i even suffer like this, i need to find someone in my life too  I should not stuck up with him, I need to move on.

I just got ready and went out to shop, I need to change my style and mainly my hair, y'know they say ' gotta get him out my hair ' I will do just that.
