Warning (Vore and character death)
Captain Mavri, hailing from the great land of Lilliput, was tasked with sailing past the great barrier. She had selected a small crew of Lilliput's finest. Her trusty first mate, Fildor, and many other fine men and women of their land.
Their travels would be the talk of the decade. Captain Mavri and her crew set sail. The lilliput boat approached the thick sea fog that served as the barrier to their lands. All those who passed had never returned. But Mavri was confident that her travels would be different. She would bring back stories and glorious loot for her people and become a hero in the history books.
As the fog consumed the ship, she felt nervous. This was it—history in the making. Her crew lit their lanterns, but the light hardly pierced the thick fog.
As they sailed blindly into the unknown, they felt the waves start to rage against their ship. The little light they had in the fog dissipated, and everything grew dark around them. A storm had captured their ship.
"All Hands! Look alive, folks!" Captain Mavri shouted. Her crew rushed to their station and held on for dear life as the wind and waves tried to ripe them into the ocean, into watery graves.
The tumultuous storm had finally abated, leaving behind a deceptive calm. An eerie silence hung over the sea as the waves lapped gently at the sides of the tiny ship.
Mavri gets her bearings and looks around. She was delighted that the fog had disappeared, and only a clear, calm ocean lay around them. They had made it past the barrier.
A collective murmur of relief rippled through the weary crew, muscles unknotting as they peered over the deck at the serene expanse of ocean that stretched before them.
"Captain," Vilmar, one of the crew, called out, his voice trembling less from the cold and more from something else entirely. "There's a shadow upon us."
All eyes turned skyward, following the finger that pointed to a dark shape, blotting out the light. It was colossal, stretching across the sky—a giant wall of metal.
"By the depths..." the captain whispered, her gaze locked on the giant figure at the top of the wall that loomed above them. She stared in horror and awe. It was a colossus of a man sitting on a giant boat. He was so big she couldn't even see his face. To this creature, they were the size of an ant.
Mavri felt a sense of dread overtake her. "Turn this ship around!" she yelled at her crew. They scrambled to comply, trying to back peddle away from this new threat.
A giant net was thrown over their ship. The giant had noticed them and had decided to catch them. The net rope tangled with the ship's sails, knocking some of her crew down from their posts.
They were pulled onto the bigger ship, like the day's catch.
"Ah, little fish," the giant rumbling voice boomed, each word dripping with disdain, "This must be my lucky day, maybe not yours. But I promise you'll serve a higher calling."
"Please, have mercy," Mavri found her voice; she wondered if the giant could even hear her. "We've done nothing to earn your ire."
"Whats that little bug? I can't hear you." The giant chuckled, the sound low and mirthless. "My name is Hilgar, and I'm going to enjoy you little morsels."
Hilgar picked up their ship between his hands. The ship was like a tiny toy. He took them deep into his boat and set them down on a table in his ship's kitchen.
While the giant's back was turned, Mavri tried to rally her crew to escape the boat. They might not be able to get far, but maybe some of them would escape.
