121st Rifle Division.[???]
Nathan slowly opens his eyes while placing his hand In Front of his face to cover the relentless sunlight...sunlight? "Aw shit". He wakes up fully as the realization hits him.
"SHIT, DAVE, WAKE UP." he said while placing both his hands on his shoulders and shaking him violently.
Dave immediately shot up, raising his rifle and began to look around frantically, "WHAT, WHAT, ARE WE UNDER ATTACK!" he said before coming to his senses, "What? Why are we back at base?" he said confusingly.
David took a second to understand what he said, but once he did, he quickly looked around, and to his surprise, they were surrounded with the concrete walls and building-filled FOB instead of the wooded lands of the DMZ.
Then, one of the doors of the building, which he now remembered as the head operations building, opened, and out stepped their commander, Henderson.
Henderson also looked like he just woke up as his once confident and menacing stride, was now nothing more than a sloppy wobble.
Then, to their horror, he seemed to notice them as he slowly moved towards their direction.
"Corporal-" Henderson said as he and his patrol buddy attempted to stand at attention and give a salute, however, the quick movement made them lightheaded and they both stumbled a bit before regaining their footing.
"What the hell happened?" Henderson asked with an obvious tone of confusion and concern.
"I-uhhh-" Nathan himself truly didn't even know what happened, so he might as well speak the truth of this... unique circumstance, "I don't know sir, me and my patrol buddy were on watch, however, we both suddenly fell asleep." He prayed that he wasn't about to get chewed out.
"Shit, you and me the same, looks like everyone in this region suddenly fell asleep, however, we have no idea how the patrols sent out and watchmen ended up back here." Henderson said while scratching his head.
Nathan looked around, and truth be told, all the patrol and guardsmen sent to monitor their part of the DMZ were laying on the ground, still asleep.
"As soon as I woke up, I immediately tried to contact other FOBs or even the head of command, however, they either didn't pick up and ended up like us, or something is currently messing with our technology."
When Henderson stopped talking, they all just stood there, observing the weird situation they were in, but one thing was for sure, they weren't in Korean anymore.
"Grgh, Alright, let's try to get these guys back awake, I'll head back inside and attempt to wake my staff, you boys try to wake the others, we need to get organized." Henderson said while Nathan and Dave saluted him before walking they both walked to the nearest pair of unconscious bodies.
33rd Armored Platoon.[???]
Johnson woke up with a start, the bright, warm light hitting his face like a TV screen in the dark and he quickly squinted his eyes as he tried to adjust.
Then the realization hits him like a truck as he shoots awake, the previous tiredness completely gone replaced with panic and fear.
Looking around the tank, the rest of his crew sleeps soundly as the snoring of K, the driver, dominates the tank.
"EVERYONE WAKE UP!" He says and everyone starts to move a bit but is still hesitant to wake.
He moves out of his commander's seat and grabs Adam's, the gunner's, shoulders and gives him a good slap across the face forcing him to stand fully awake.
