Chapter 6

"What happened yesterday? Why dkd you do skmething like that?" Shravan asks.

I don't say anything, feeling angry.

She tried to kiss Shravan.

If Shravan wasn't my friend, he'd be 6 feet under.

I don't know why. I don't know why I did what I did. I don't fucking know.

When she swerved towards Shravan, instinct took over.

She had shown interest in me since the second she came into our friend group.

She had fluttered around me all this time, and hell if I let her kiss another guy infront of me.

I told her to go away, because I knew she deserves better. But I realise now, that I'm selfish, and I want to keep her with me.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

We meet the others at the lunch table.

"Hey, what's up?" Ravi asks. He looks happy.

Ravi looks happy? Damn.

Vijay seems a little troubled. Maybe something happened yesterday.

I look at the girls, talking to each other and stare at Nikita.

Angel.

Her smile. Her face. Her hair. It's all so beautiful.

A hand is placed on her shoulder, and I look at the owner of the hand.

Daksh.

Nikita looks at him and smiles, she continues talking to her friends, without asking that fucker to remove his hands from her.

My gun is in my room.

Should I bring it over?

"No way your father is.." Shravan is talking to Vijay.

Ravi is staring at Daksh, with a murderous look similar to mine.

I dial my mom's number, waiting for her to pick up.

She does.

"Hi moms." I say, in a cheerful tone.

"Hi Niks. How's school and everything?" She asks.

"It's fine. I told you about my new friends, remember?" I ask.

"Yes, I do. Shanaya and.. Avni. Right?" She asks.

"Yes. They're literally the best people. You know, they keep partying-"

"Don't party too much, sweety."

"Yeah sure. And Sarika won't be coming with me to our home this time."

Every holiday Sarika accompankes me to my place, which is beside hers. She's always welcome there.

She is the reason I'm studying in RockRex. She gave the funds required to us.

"Why? I love that girl." Moms says.

"I don't know. Something is up with her." I say.

"Hmm." Mom says.

I'm alone in my room. Sarika's not here like fucking always. I sit on the bed, clicking my nails together when there is a knock, on the door.

I open the door, slightly. It's almost midnight.

Who would visit me at midnight? Is Sarika back?

I see noone out there at first and then, someone's hand is on my throat, pushing me into the room, and swiftly locking the door.

I recognize the smell that invades my lungs. It's him.

I stop panicking when I recognize Sid.

I look into his eyes, my breath gets heavier. I look into his dark eyes for a second before his lips come crashing on mine.

And everything I know, everything I was thinking ceases to exist.

Just him. One of his hand on my neck, one on my waist, his harsh lips on mine, and the heat travelling in my body.
