The next morning Raghav woke up when he heard voices in his house. He gave out a big yawn but since he wasn't on his bed but a sofa, he fell on the ground.

"Where are you going?" He asked Vamika and Aneesa as they hurriedly tied their shoes.

"Home. We got a call from Saanchi." Vamika.

"Wait, so let me drop you." He stood up,

"No. It's enough. You helped us a lot already. Thanks." Aneesa didn't want more of his favor.

"Wait, who is that?" Vamika spotted a figure behind the sofa.

Last night, the doorbell rang again. Stephen couldn't book any Uber and asked if he could stay over for a night and Raghav couldn't deny him. The sleep was taking over them so they initiated a conversation which eventually led to an emotional breakdown for both of them.

Flashbacks from the last night ran in front of his eyes. How he had to open the liquor in his kitchen and how dramatic their conversation was.

He remembered it all.

"He didn't go home?" Vamika asked.

"Who is he?" Aneesa followed the back to see Stephen lying around, sleeping with a soft smile as he held an empty bottle close to his chest.

"WHAT is he doing here?" He was the last person she expected it to be.

"He tracked you." Vamika was still upset by the fact and was still lowkey glaring at Raghav.

"To look for you because he was worried." Raghav quickly added the subtext to avoid any misunderstandings.

"Why would he be worried about me?"

"Because Saanchi called and we weren't home." Vamika.

"Oh, dear god. whatever. We don't have time for this." Aneesa was stunned by the circumstances. She received an emergency call from Saanchi and now Stephen follows her out of worry. Out of all people, Why'd he worry about her? Was it genuine human nature or was it something more?

They took an auto rickshaw and reached as soon as possible. While Aneesa was paying the fare, Vamika ran to their house.

"So you finally came, your majesty!" Saanchi opened the door. Her eyes were filled with rage and for once, Vamika was terrified of that look.

The glares she sent were terrifying Vamika.

"What's going on? Where's dad." Vamika started searching around the house.

"Oh, I'll tell you where's dad but first tell me where were you last night? Couldn't you pick up any of our calls? Do you have any idea how worried everyone was?" Saanchi lashed out at her younger sister.
