"Vamika! Open the door." Aneesa had been banging on the door for half an hour now.

The reminders of their past were sending shivers down her spine. If it wasn't for her father, Laxman, all three daughters of Reyraj would've lived a devastated life.

Till this moment, Aneesa always imagined them as their siblings and not cousins but today even she felt a nudge in her heart. Somewhere in the corner of my mind, the voices echoed, the voices which said,

'My dad isn't even their real father. They're my cousins but they snatched my dad.'

The voices that used to echo in her mind when she was just a teenage girl and Laxman paid more care to other girls. She didn't like the idea of sharing her Dad but as time passed, Aneesa got over it and the sisters became best friends until today,

When those voices arose again,

The feeling of contemplation hit her.

"Vamika! Open the door!" But Aneesa quickly shook those feelings.

The door screeched, and Vamika came out of the room. Her eyes were dried up and her face looked sore. She turned her gaze to Aneesa,

"Go to the hospital. Go see Dad." She calmly said.

"Yes. Let's go." Aneesa sighed in relief,

"No. I won't come. I will harm Dad again, won't I?" Her eyes became damp again.

Vamika might be rebellious and fight with her Dad on small things and could be a bit picky at times but even the thought of hurting her father was beyond her capabilities to withstand. She wanted her family to be happy.

"Vamika. Listen to me." Aneesa didn't want to ignore her feelings by forcibly dragging her or saying 'Ignore what Saanchi said' etc. It may be a temporary solution but everything should be permanent when it comes to the family.

"Look, I know Saanchi was harsh with the words but that's because she's suffered herself and doesn't want to see any of us suffer anymore. Even you, she called you thousands of times yesterday. She cares for this family and this outbreak just now was a bad situation getting caught in her piled-up emotions. They're valid but the way she expressed could've been different." She explained her point of view.

Vamika let her words sink in, Aneesa was right. It wasn't Saanchi's fault.

"I know. I just couldn't believe it was the Saanchi I knew. Her aura was different. I'm not mad at her at all."

"That sounds relieving. So should we go check on Dad?"

"Mhm!" Vamika wiped her tears.

Aneesa let her fall into an embrace and tried to calm the hurricane in her mind. Vamika has a lot to learn about her real family. It would be better if it could be kept hidden but the curiosity kills the cat, Likewise, Vamika couldn't wait to learn about her secrets.
