"That was fun, yeah?" Kakucho chuckled as he ran his hand through his hair. He was the first to stepped out of the elevator, while I'm still shivering from cold.
"Ugh..." I said before sneezing again for the fourth time ever since we got into his car after running though the rain. I'm pissed off with him that he chose to run towards the car instead of letting it weaken first. I've been sneezing ever since.
"No..." I said with a croaky voice while I covered myself more with his jacket cause I'm freezing to death. Then again, I sneezed for the fifth time. "And don't talk to me, we're not friends."
"Aw come on don't be like that," he laughed. "And there's only the two of us here right now so don't sweat it." how come he's not freezing when he's also soaking wet?
I rubbed my nose, "Whatever," we walked through the hallway I've never been. It's a relief we didn't encounter any of the other members while we're on our way here. I still don't want to see any of their faces, specially that pink haired fuck.
"Where are we going anyway?" I asked.
"I'll show you to your room of course," but... I already had a room? "My office is right... here," he said, pointing to the door we halted at.
"And your room is there," he pointed the door a little more step across from his. I thought my room is the room that I had stayed earlier. I guess not.
He walked towards my will be room and opened the door and immediately walked in. I only peaked right at the side of the door.
From what I can describe to what I'm seeing. It's a simple but elegant room with an enormous window that help me see a city from up here.
I walked towards the center of the room, and I'm already liking its atmosphere because of its color's shade and simple design. There are two doors in this room aside from the door towards the hallways, I guess one of it is the bathroom, and I don't know the other.
A warmth cloth suddenly was draped over me that had me startled a little bit. "It'll help you warmed up a bit. My jacket is not working since it was soaked as well," Kakucho said.
"Thanks," I murmured while walking towards the giant window. It's still raining hard from the outside. I slowly saw my reflection as I continue to walk towards it until I raised my hand touched the glass.
The city is so peaceful to look from up here.
I wonder what they're doing right now. I want to know what they're doing right now. I want to know what happened to them.
"I'm sorry,"
I turned my head to him, my brows knitted together. "What?" why's he apologizing?
"About yesterday..." he looked down on the ground while placing his hands on the pocket of his soaked hoodie, "I'm sorry..."
I turn my head back to the window, I signed before saying, "I think it's my fault as well."
Despite earlier that I'm still bargaining myself, I already accepted that it was my fault.
"No... I-"
"If I had listened to you immediately, no threats would happen. Or even better... No deaths would happen,"
What happened yesterday will forever haunt myself that I'm too scared to sleep, thinking that those innocent lives would haunt me. I don't know if I should be relieved that I would stay here for a while.
I can't look at anyone in the eyes if I went home, they aren't aware that the person who killed and destroy their home was the fault of the person who also live in their subdivision.
