As Abhimanyu moved away, the nurse gently reminded them about the opportunity to meet Akshara before the surgery. Swarna's heart shattered at the thought of seeing her child in such a vulnerable state. Tears streamed down her face as she whispered brokenly, "Main nahi dekh sakti apni bachchi ko is halat mein."
Aarohi's jaw tightened with determination as she stepped forward, her voice unwavering despite the tears in her eyes. "Main jaaungi Akshu se milne," she declared firmly.
Kairav reached out to stop her, his voice filled with concern. "Are you sure, Aarohi?" he asked softly, his eyes searching hers for any sign of hesitation.
Aarohi nodded, her resolve unwavering. "Haan, main jaanti hoon ke meri aur Akshu ke beech sab kuch galat hai, par ab Mai isse badlungi," she replied, her voice filled with determination. "Mujhe usse yeh batana hai ke main uske saath hoon, chahe jo bhi ho."
With a heavy heart, Kairav stepped aside, allowing Aarohi to proceed. He watched her walk towards Akshara's room, his heart filled with anxiety. Despite their turbulent relationship, he prayed silently that Aarohi would find the right words, that she wouldn't say anything that might hurt Akshu further in this fragile state.
As Aarohi disappeared into the room, Kairav's prayers grew more fervent. He knew how deeply words could wound, especially now when Akshara needed all the love and support they could muster. He hoped that Aarohi's presence would bring some measure of comfort to his sister in her time of need, and not reopen old wounds.
As Aarohi entered the room, her heart constricted at the sight of Akshara lying amidst a maze of medical instruments. Tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered all the times she had wished for Akshara's demise, the cruel words she had uttered in anger and frustration. How could she have harbored such dark thoughts towards her own sister? The guilt weighed heavy on her heart, threatening to suffocate her with its crushing presence.
With a trembling hand, Aarohi approached Akshara's bedside, her eyes blurred with tears as she gently brushed her fingers through Akshara's hair. Akshara stirred at the touch, her voice weak as she whispered in a plea, "Mumma?"
But when she opened her eyes, she was met with the sight of her sister Aarohi. Aarohi's heart broke at the confusion in Akshara's eyes, the realization of her absence hitting her like a punch to the gut.
Gathering her composure, Aarohi spoke softly, her voice thick with emotion. "Akshu, mujhe pata hai ki mumma yahan nahi hain, par unki yaadein humare saath hain. Aur main yahan hoon, teri behan, tere saath hamesha," she said, her words filled with love and regret. "Main tere saath hoon, chahe jo bhi ho."
Akshara looked at her sister, a mixture of confusion and tentative hope in her eyes. "Aarohi, main Neil ki maut ke liye zimmedar nahi hoon," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
Aarohi's grip on Akshara's hand tightened as she nodded, her eyes filled with sincerity. "Mujhe pata hai, Akshu. Main samajh gayi hoon ke tum naa hi Neil ki balke mumma ke maut ki zimmedar bhi nahi ho. Main bas yeh kehna chahti hoon ki tu akeli nahi hai. Main tere saath hoon." she assured her.
As Aarohi looked into Akshara's eyes, the weight of all her past mistakes pressed down on her as she began to speak. "Akshu, I am so sorry for everything. For all the hurtful things I've said and done. I know my actions may be beyond forgiveness, but I need you to know that I regret them deeply. I wish I could take back every cruel word, every moment I made you feel unloved."
Akshara's eyes glistened with unshed tears, her heart aching at the raw emotion in Aarohi's voice. Aarohi continued, her voice cracking with the intensity of her feelings. "Please remember, Akshu, that no matter what, your sister is always with you. I promise you now, from the bottom of my heart, that I will support you, protect you, and stand by you through everything. You're not alone in this fight."
