Yunlan's eyes filled with sadness and longing as he reached out to touch Shen Wei's face, but he flinched away.

He felt a pang in his heart, realizing that Wei was afraid of him, that he didn't recognize him as his husband, his partner, his love.

"Shen Wei, please, it's me, Yunlan. Your husband. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise." he whispered with sadness

But Shen Wei just kept backing away, his eyes fixed on him, as if he was a stranger, a threat.

Yunlan's heart broke at the sight, feeling like he was losing him all over again.

He stopped moving, his hands raised in a calming gesture.

"Okay, okay. I won't touch you. Just please, baby, talk to me. Tell me what's going on. Why are you afraid of me?"

"Who are you?"

Yunlan's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with disbelief.

"What do you mean, 'who are you'?" he asked, his voice shaking with emotion.

"Who are you and why you try to kidnap my daughter?" Shen Wei ask

"I'm your husband, Yunlan. The father of your child, baby" Yunlan said

Shen Wei quickly picked his daughter in his arms and try to hide her from Yunlan.

Shen Wei just looked at him with a mix of fear and confusion, his grip on their daughter was tightening.

"No, you're not my husband. I don't know you." he yelled angrily but still so softly

Yunlan felt shocked. He stumbled backward, his eyes fixed on Shen Wei's face, searching for any glimmer of recognition.

But there was nothing. Shen Wei looked at him like a stranger, like someone he had never met before.

"No, no, no," Yunlan muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.

"This can't be. We're married. We have a daughter together. We...we..." Yunlan

But Shen Wei just shook his head, his eyes filling with tears.

"I don't know you," he repeated. "And I don't know what you want with my daughter." Shen Wei was getting scared from Yunlan now

Yunlan's world came crashing down around him, his heart shattered into a million pieces.

He felt like he was living in a nightmare, a never-ending dream from which he couldn't wake up.

Shen Wei shout and call his father, and quickly runs away from Yunlan as if he was a stranger, a threat. He start running away

Yunlan's heart raced with panic, his eyes streaming with tears as he chased after him, begging him to stop, to listen, to remember.

"Shen Wei baby, please! Don't go! Don't leave me! I'm your husband, your love!"

But Shen Wei didn't look back, didn't slow down, his feet pounding the ground as he rushed towards the safety of his father's presence.

Yunlan's cries echoed through the air, his voice hoarse with desperation, his soul shattered into a million pieces.

As they disappeared from sight, Yunlan collapsed to the ground, his body wracked with sobs, his mind reeling with the unbearable reality.

Shen Wei didn't remember him, didn't know him, didn't love him anymore.

Yunlan struggled to his feet, his eyes red and swollen from crying, and stumbled towards the direction Shen Wei had run.

After few moments he found himself standing in front of a tall, imposing figure, with a stern expression and piercing eyes.

"Who are you?" Yunlan asked with Shaking voice.

"I am Shen Wei's father, and you are?" the man replied

Yunlan's eyes locked onto Xiao Han's (Wei's guardian whom Wei calls father) searching for answers.

"You're not his father, but you're taking care of him like one," Yunlan said, his voice filled with a mix of emotions.

Xiao Han nodded, his expression soft and gentle. "Yes, that's right. I've been taking care of Shen Wei since the accident. he had no one else, and I couldn't just leave him alone."

Yunlan's heart swelled with gratitude. "Thank you. Thank you for taking care of my wife and daughter" Yunlan said

Xiao Han's eyes filled with love "I trust you after seeing your eyes that you're his husband, Yunlan. I know you love him. But he doesn't remember you, and I can't just abandon him."

Yunlan's eyes dropped, his heart heavy with sadness. He knew Xiao Han was right.

Shen Wei didn't remember him, and he couldn't force him to love him again.

"I understand," Yunlan said finally, his voice heavy with resignation

"I just want to be near him, to help him remember me, us, our family" Yunlan's tear fell from his eyes

Xiao Han's face softened, and he nodded. "I understand, Yunlan. And I'll help you, in any way I can."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the river, Yunlan's family was in a state of panic. They had been searching for him everywhere, and now they had received news that he had jumped into the river.

"Yunlan's gone mad!" his mother cried, her hands wringing in distress. "He's going to hurt himself!"

His father rushed out of the house, calling out to the search party. "Find him! Find my son!"

His siblings were in tears, begging their parents to do something. "Please, please find Yunlan! He can't be gone! We can't lose another loved one"

The family was in chaos, fear and worry etched on their faces. They had never seen Yunlan like this before, and they didn't know what to do.

After an hour of worry, they received a call from Yunlan from an unknown number

Yunlan's family was overjoyed to hear his voice, "Yunlan, where are you? We've been searching everywhere for you!" his mother was crying

"I'm safe, mom," Yunlan replied, his voice filled with a sense of peace.

"I've found Shen Wei. he's alive, and we have a daughter. Mom your Wei is alive"

Yunlan was excited and happy like God gave his soul back to him

There was a moment of stunned silence on the other end of the line before his family erupted into joyful tears and exclamations.

"Wei's father!" Xinci boomed. "We have to tell him! His son is alive!"

Yunlan smiled, feeling a sense of closure. "Yes, dad. Please tell him. Shen Wei and I will be coming home soon, with our daughter"

His family's cheers and tears of joy filled the line as Yunlan hung up. He knew that the road ahead would be long and difficult, but with Shen Wei and their daughter by his side, he was ready to face whatever came next.
