The lab doors burst open, and a squad of heavily armed Syndicate operatives stormed in. Spider-Man leaped into action, webbing up the first wave of attackers with practiced ease. He flipped and dodged, using his agility to stay one step ahead of their bullets.

Harry and Dr. Richards took cover behind a reinforced desk, watching the battle unfold. Peter knew he had to protect them and keep the Echo device out of the Syndicate's hands.

As the fight raged on, the scarred leader stepped into the lab, a sinister grin on his face. "You're outnumbered, Spider-Man. Give up now, and I might let your friends live."

Peter's response was a swift kick to the leader's chest, sending him flying backward. "Not a chance," he said, determination in his voice.

The leader recovered quickly, drawing a high-tech weapon and aiming it at Spider-Man. "You think you're so clever, don't you? Let's see how you handle this."

He fired, and a beam of energy shot towards Peter. Spider-Man barely managed to dodge, the beam grazing his shoulder and burning his suit. He winced in pain but kept fighting, webbing the leader's weapon and yanking it out of his hands.

The Syndicate operatives regrouped, closing in on Spider-Man from all sides. Peter knew he was in trouble, but he couldn't give up. He had to protect Echo at all costs.

Just when things seemed dire, the lab's emergency defenses activated. Automated turrets emerged from the walls, targeting the Syndicate operatives and providing Spider-Man with much-needed backup.

Peter used the distraction to his advantage, taking down the remaining operatives one by one. The leader, realizing he was losing, made a desperate move. He lunged towards Dr. Richards, trying to grab the Echo device from her.

But Spider-Man was faster. He swung across the lab, delivering a powerful punch that sent the leader crashing into the wall. "Stay away from her," Peter growled.

The leader slumped to the ground, defeated. The remaining Syndicate operatives fled, realizing their mission had failed.

Dr. Richards emerged from her hiding spot, clutching the Echo device tightly. "Thank you, Spider-Man. You saved us."

Peter nodded, still catching his breath. "It's not over yet. The Syndicate won't stop until they get what they want. We need to find a way to protect Echo."

Harry stepped forward. "I'll increase security and notify the authorities. We'll keep it safe."

Peter glanced at his friend, grateful for his support. "Thanks, Harry. I couldn't have done this without you."

As the sun began to rise over New York City, Spider-Man knew that the battle for Echo was far from over. The Syndicate was still

out there, and they would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. But with the help of his friends, Peter was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
