Haunt of YHS
Gigs meets ghost!grian

Impulse opened up his computer and sees a message. Clicking it open he reads through it and quickly replies back.
See Impulse, along with living on hermitcraft, had an extra job. He was a ghost hunter. Every now and again a ghost should pop up in random places and cause trouble and have to be removed or extricated.
Impulse typed on his com texting a group chat labeled Gigs.

<Impulse> We got a job tonight guys!

<Gem> Yay

<hOtGuY> noice

<Skizz> wheres it at???

<Impulse> A school server based in Japan.

<Skizz> oh no

<Skizz> not school

<Gem> You'll survive Skizz

<hOtGuY> i wont x-x

Impulse laughed at the chats before looking at more of the specifics of the case.
Gigs wasn't the only Ghost hunting team out in all the servers. Impulse was apart of a less active group as well as Gigs but the majority of that team only went on hunts every once in a while.
Impulse read through the file.
Not much was known about the ghost, not even a name. Impulse shrugged that off, it happened every once in a while when old ghosts became active again for a certain reason.
After a while of trying to scrape as much information about the ghost out of the file Impulse checked the time and noticed it was late and he had to go get the rest of the crew.

<Impulse> Hey X got a Gigs job should be back early morning at the latest.

<XisumaVoid> Thanks for letting me know Impulse

<Impulse> No problem

Turning off his com Impulse pulled out his elytra and equipped it grabbing a couple rockets from his ender chest.
Spamming a few to get high enough to glide Impulse made his way over to Scars base.
Knocking on the door Impulse waited a moment.
"Come in!" Scar yelled.
Impulse let himself in to find Scar sitting on the couch with Jellie on his lap.
"We got to get going Scar." Impulse said. "I texted Gem and she's meeting us at spawn and we have to meet up with Skizz."
"But I can't." Scar wined. "Jellie's sitting in me!"
Impulse grinned. "She can come if you want her too."
Jellie perked her head up as if she understood what Impulse said. Meowing she jumped off Scar's lap and waited for him to stand up before begging for him to pick her up. Scar leaned over a picked Jellie up scratching under her chin.
"Fine." Scar said fallowing Impulse out of his house.
Scar clipped one his cat carrier he used for flying with Jellie and carefully put her in before equipping his elytra and spamming rockets all the way to spawn.
"I win!" Scar said thumping on the ground.
Impulse landed more gracefully than Scar before replying. "It wasn't a race."
Jellie meowed.
"Hey Jellie!" Gem cooed at the cat, said cat started purring.
Impulse sighed exasperated. "Guys we have to go."
Gem rolled her eyes before letting Impulse take her and Scar's and disconnecting them from the server.
They all appeared in the hub and Impulse rushed them to where Skizz was waiting.
"Hey Dipple Dop!" Skizz greeted.
"Hey Skizz." Impulse replied back. "Got the stuff?"
"Yup!"
"Great."
Jellie meowed wanting attention.
Skizz gave her attention by taking her out of her carrier and petting her. "Hey kitcat."
"Ok!" Gem said. "Impulse you wanted to get going now let's go."
Scar sat pouting that his cat was purring for other people.

Impulse took keys to the high school out of his inventory and opened the door.
Skizz hooked up the security cameras to their monitors outside the school in a designated "van" area and set up enchantments to make sure the ghosts couldn't get them inside.
Scar set Jellie down and got EMF readers scattered all over the school quickly covering the entire area to ensure they didn't miss activity. Impulse carried the rest of the stuff in and Gem helped Skizz after calling van duty.
Walking through the dark halls Impulse pushed open a few doors to check later.
Once Impulse reached the end of the hall he was in he pushed open double doors to a cafeteria. Reaching over Impulse flicked the lights on squinting at the bright light.
Once adjusted Impulse pulled out a thermometer walking around the whole room.
"Not in Cafeteria." Impulse said over the radio then moved to the next room making his way slowly back towards the front.
About halfway back Impulse shivered when he entered a room almost immediately knowing it was below freezing.
Pulling out the thermometer he checked just to be sure before telling the others.
"Found the ghost room. It's four doors from the entrance. There's freezing temps."
Walking out the where Gem was he went and picked up salt, a UV, and a small EMF reader.
"I haven't seen any activity." Gem said turning away from the camera for a second towards Impulse.
"That's fine." Impulse replied. "We got the ghost room already."
Once Impulse went back inside from collecting the stuff Scar was standing out side the door watching Skizz do Spirit box.
"Where are you? Are you here? What's your name?" Skizz rapidly asked. "How did you die."
The room dropped about 5 degrees (F).
"Skizz." Scar said chastising him. "You shouldn't ask that, it's rude."
"Sorry." Skizz mumbled shifting.
Impulse walked into the room before Skizz could start spirit box again and placed a writing book down near the center and set the UV and EMF on a desk. Then left the room so Skizz could continue.
Skizz continued to do spirit box for a few more minutes before giving up on it.
"I'm gonna say it's not spirit box."Skizz said crossing it out and the ghosts who have spirit box as evidence. "That good with you Dipple Dop?"
"Ye." (If you've ever seen a phasmo stream Impulse says this in one of the cutest voices, and I love it.)
Skizz stepped out of the room. "No spirit box Gem."
"Ok." Gem replied over the radios.
After a moment as Impulse was just about to step in the room, the pen he had set next to the book floated up and scratched something on the paper.
Impulse slowly walked over not wanting to scare the ghost.
The writing on the book was a small neatly written word: hi.
"Hello." Impulse said. "What's your name?"
The pen dipped down words scrawling in black ink.
The pen wavered at the beginning of the name as if the ghost was unsure.
Grian, the writing said.
"Well Grian do you know how you got here?"
The pen trembled slightly.
"You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
The pen dropped to the desk and rolled to the floor.
"Guys we got ghost writing." Impulse said into the radio. "But the ghosty moved."
"Ok." Gem said from the van.
"Do we want to regroup outside?" Scar asked over the radio having wandered off when Impulse was talking with Grian.
"Good idea Scar."
