The Soft spoken girl

It's been a few days of the same routine. We would visit her and she would get her food and sit back down. Soon They finally let me do it without assistance and I liked it that way, being alone that is. It's 6am it's time to give Billie her pill and her breakfast.

"Hi billie I have your breakfast and your medicine, can you come and grab it for me?" I said talking to her like she's a human.
She tried to stand but she was too weak i noticed she's a vegetarian or she just don't like the meat so she most goes for the banana every morning but today she couldn't Stand she was weak.

I see her struggle to stand and I went against protocol and opened the gate to help her stand, " hey are you okay" I said not realizing that I'm putting my life in danger. She freeze when I open the door but falls to the ground.

When stuff like this happens you are supposed to call someone but I feel like they will make her suffer even more so I unchain her and put her small body on the bed and put a small space heater we're she can warm up. Then I waited and waited for six hours, she woke up, I noticed she wasn't shaking anymore, and her lips were pink and not blue.

She saw that she wasn't chained up anymore and that's when I say a tear run down her face as she stood up and slowly walked away from her bed. She didn't see me yet until I walked in

I had sweats and a hoodie on as I gave her a meat free meal and then sat down on the chair across from her and read a book she had on her desk.

She just stared at me then slowly but cautiously started to eat I ignored her the whole time as she started the quicken her eating process. Soon she was done and she put the plate down and just stared at me.
After like ten minutes I said casually,
" what's up, I noticed you looked hungry and you don't eat meat so I bring you a no meat meal so you don't pass out no more", I laughed and then pointed to her legs and arms to show that I also unchained her. " it's crazy that people said your crazy I don't see it" I said talking to her like she's a friend or something "anyways I was thinking about bring something in tomorrow, so see ya same time tomorrow" I said as I stood up and was about to leave

"Wait", Billie said softly barely above a whisper with her head down a bit
