She sat on the bed, her back rested on the pillows while shu gently fed her on his own. "You know I am not a child and can eat on my own." She looked clearly frustrated and annoyed.

"I know, I just don't want you to work yourself up." He said insisting to feed her but she turned her head away. "I don't want to eat anymore...." She muttered, her dead eyes looking outside the window.

The winters were  on the edge. The leaves had fallen off the trees, the ants were starting to vanish from sight in their den for the winter, the birds were fixing their nests on the exposed branches of the tree skeletons.

"It's starting to get cold." Shu said while putting the dishes aside on the table and the maids taking it away. "I don't feel it..." She said with a bold voice with a hint of arrogance, trying to keep a cold demeanour. "Everyone does..." Shu smiled warmly. "Every human including you..." He placed his warm hand over hers. "I am not a human.... I am a monster and you should be afraid of me like others too." She pulled her hands away, still not turning her head to face him.

She gulped, "i wish to go out... Or else I will become insane staying inside this room." Shu just sighed in defeat, he knew there was no point in arguing with her. "Should I accompany you, your grace?" He asked politely before helping her stand up, one of his hand holding hers while the other supporting her back. "No need, I can walk on my own I am not handicapped." She let go of his hand as soon as she was on her legs.

Shu quickly grabbed a fur cloak from beside and wrapped it around her. She looked towards him with a protesting gaze and before she could say anything he interrupted her. "I know what you're going to say, you don't get cold." He hummed under his breath once he was done putting the cloak around her. "But I don't want to risk anything related to you." He smiled again. "You're really important to me and your people, your grace. You should take care of your people more." She took her hand and kissed the back of her hand.

She didn't say anything but looked away again and walked straight to the door. "Don't overwork yourself while I am gone, go to your room and rest this instance, this is an order." She said before leaving the room. "As your grace wishes..." Shu smiled warmly watching her leave the room.

The castle walls looked down at her with those old disappointed gazes as always, the sound of her footsteps echoed, this never failed to make her feel small in that big castle. Small and alone.

She walked her way through the big hallways to the corridors connected to the garden. Suddenly a familiar sound caught her attention. "No she must be somewhere here! Find her!" A woman shouted at the maids while the maids tried to call her down.

Her body frame was weak and small, she looked fragile, her eyes white from ageing but her beauty was still on her face. "My lady, please call down." The maids tried to call her down while making her sit back down. "No! You don't understand! My daughter! I couldn't find her anymore! I need her right now! She's just a small child!!"
