Y/n's POV

When the gunfight was finally over and after you saw the police handcuffing Jimin's father. You instantly looked for Jimin but you can't see him.

"Y/n, are you okay?" You heard Namjoon say. You looked at him and saw his clothes all dirty just like yours.

You also joined the gunfight. The police officer told you to stay away and hide once the gunfight started but you have no time to do it since one of the gang members saw you and started shooting in your direction. You have no choice but to shoot back with the small gun Namjoon handed you before going here. He said it was for emergency but you didn't thought that you actually have to use it. It's not a problem though since you know how to shoot, thanks to your brother for teaching you.

"I'm okay," you answered Namjoon's question and you started looking around again.

"Have you seen Jimin?"

Just when Namjoon was about to answer you suddenly feel like you heard some breathing from one of the big drums lying around the warehouse.

"Do you hear that?" you asked Namjoon as you stare at the drum. Namjoon walked closer to the back of the drum and you followed.

"Jimin!" You heard Namjoon said and you looked at where he was looking and there he was lying, his bloody hand on his shoulders. You started to panick.

"Call someone!" You shouted at Namjoon and he quickly ran outside to call the rescuers.

"Jimin?" you called and tears swelled in your eyes.

"Jimin! Are you awake?" You called again and you feel somehow relieved when you heard some sound coming from his mouth but still no words.

"Just hang on. Namjoon is calling the rescuers, stay with me, okay?" you said trying to sound strong for him but your tears is betraying you.

"Y-Y/n....." you heard him say in a very low voice but enough for you to hear. He caressed your cheek and you looked at each other.

"We'll get you to the hospital," you said to him.

"Yeah, I know... But we got him... We got my father," he said weakly.

"Yes, we did. It's all thanks to you," you smiled bitterly as you put your hand on his hand that is now on your cheek. He smiled back at you.

Just then the rescuers came together with Namjoon. They lifted Jimin and put him on a stretcher. You stayed by his side until you reach the hospital.

Jimin's POV

The next day, in the hospital.

Namjoon sat on the other side of the bed as him and Jimin talk about last night. Jimin had a few stitches on his wounds and he lost a lot of blood so the doctor did some blood transfusion to him. He needs to recover for a few weeks but he's fine.

"You did good, Jimin. You brought him down," Namjoon said.

Jimin nodded and said, "Thanks, Namjoon. But I need to come clean. I've committed some crimes too before... serious ones."

Namjoon sighed. "I know. But you've more than paid your dues by bringing him down. However, law is the law. There will be consequences."

"I understand, I'm willing to face whatever comes," he said.

"By the way, I want to say sorry," the detective started.

"For what?" Jimin looked at him confused.

"For judging you, I didn't like and trust you at first but I was wrong, I'm sorry for that," Namjoon said sincerely.

"Nah, It's fine, I understand," Jimin smiled at him and Namjoon nodded and smiled back.

"Thank you. We'll make sure your case is taken into account. You should get some rest for now. "

Y/n's POV

You entered the hospital room Jimin was in relieved to see him. He still needs some monitoring so he won't be discharged yet. Maybe he'll stay in the hospital for a few days more.

Besides that, everything feels light now. Jimin's father is now in the police's custody and will face life imprisonment.  The gang members was also sent to prison. The employees of Wolfin Guns and Weapons have no escape which the police arrested together with Jimin's mother. She is also involved in the case but she'll serve less years in prison than her husband since she is just an accomplice of Mr. Park.

"Hey, how are you feeling," you said softly looking at him with worries.

"Been better, but I'll live. How about you?" He smiled weakly.

You took his hand and say, "I'm just relieved that you're okay. You really scared me, Jimin."

Jimin sighed. "I'm sorry Y/n, I didn't want you to worry."

"You did what you had to do. I'm proud of you for bringing him down. But now we have to deal with what comes next."

Jimin nodded. "I know. Namjoon also told me about it. There will be consequences for my past. I already expected it."

"We'll face it together. I'll be by your side no matter what," you comforted him.

"Thank you, Y/n. For being here despite all the things that happened to us. That means everything to me," he said as he squeezed your hand.

A month later...

You stood at the audience, watching anxiously as the hearing started. Jimin stands before the judge, his lawyer by his side. Namjoon is by your side while your brother, Yoongi, is on the other side. He flew to Daegu a few weeks ago once he heard what happened. He was mad at you because you didn't told him about all of this. But after all, you are his little sister so, he can't bear to be mad at you for so long. He said he was just relieved to see you safe. Also, he was also mad when he learned about Jimin and the murder. He reacted just like how you reacted at first but that was a few weeks ago. You can feel he's still mad about it but you somehow convinced him a little once you told him the whole story.

"Park Jimin, you have been charged with multiple counts of illegal activities and the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Min. Given your significant contribution to dismantling a major arms-dealing and your cooperation with law enforcement, we will take that into consideration during sentencing," the judge said looking at some documents.

"Thank you, Your Honor. I'm ready to face the consequences of my actions," Jimin said bowing his head.

"This court recognizes the severity of your past crimes but also acknowledges your efforts to rectify them. After careful consideration, you are hereby sentenced to five years in prison, with eligibility for parole after two years based on good behavior," the judge said sternly.

Jimin nodded. "I understand, Your Honor. Thank you."

"We'll get through this, Jimin," you whispered to yourself.
