It's four in the morning and Hudson and I find ourselves standing in the completely empty parking lot of the Iowa girls basketball facility underneath a dim yellow street light. "Why did you decide to drag me here with you?" He asks, shoving his hands into his sweatshirt pocket and I turn to look at him, "Because your sister is one of the players, common knowledge."

"And I would've seen her tomorrow like everyone else," Hudson replies, obviously tired. I knew Daisy wouldn't come with me because seeing Caitlin this early in the morning would ruin her mood. I have no clue why they hate each other, but I would rather not have her upset at 4 o' clock.

"You could've gotten Everett or Benny to come with you... I have a PoliSci exam in like five hours..." He says with a whine in his voice and I just shake my head at him with a small smirk on my face, "I will buy you a coffee after they get here if you stop complaining..."

"You're lucky I love you, Mia," he says, leaning against the car we drove here.

"I knew you would come around!"

I watch as he rolls his eyes and I couldn't help but smile as something catches my eye in front of me; it was the team's bus.

"They're here," I say happily, hitting his arm. Hudson grabs ahold of my wrists, yawning as he does. "Rude," I mumble.

"You were the one hitting me."

"It's because I'm excited!" I say rolling my eyes and Hudson chuckles lightly, "And I am tired..."

I shake my head. "I'm about to not buy you a coffee. Stop complaining."

Threaten his coffee intake and he folds. Him and Daisy are the same in that way. The bus stops and the girls begin getting off of the bus. I watch intently for Kate. Hannah is off first and then Jada and Gabbie. A couple more girls get off before I see Caitlin.

"No way!" she says, spotting me and her brother.

Before either of us could say anything to her she was running over to the two of us with a bright smile on her face. "Surprise!" I squeal as she embraces me in a big hug which sends me off balance.

Caitlin and I are fairly close. We are all close with her except Daisy.

"Kate didn't tell me that you two were coming..." She says as the two of us pull away from one another and she goes to hug her twin brother. I have a smile on my face, "She didn't tell you because she doesn't know..."

"I didn't know until Mia woke me up," Hudson says.

Caitlin messes up his hair. "Oh, come on, you just wanted to see your favorite older sister."

"By eight minutes, Lin," Hudson replies, annoyed.

She smirks. "Still older."

I have loved getting to grow close with both Caitlin and Hudson in two different ways and it has been cool. "Okay you two... Calm it down, too early for the clark twin banter." I say and Hudson turns to look at me, "Now who's complaining?" He says with a smirk on his face.

"Don't even start," I say, seeing Kate now getting off of the bus.

The three of us all look in her direction, waiting for her to notice us.

"Ten bucks says she doesn't notice us until she is halfway to the front door of the facility..." Hudson says looking over at me with a small smile wiggling his eyebrows and I nod, "You're on..."
