Zuko p.o.v.

I woke up by the sounds of maids and guards shouting about. I looked around and saw I wasn't alone, katara was sleeping on my chest. I slide from under her as easy as possible so I don't wake her. I went to the door and pulled a maid over. "What's wrong?" "The princess is missing your Highness" "Azula?" "No Princess Katara of the southern water tribe" I opened the door wider so she can see katara still sleeping. "Oh I see I'll tell them she's here" I nod and closed the door, when I turned around I noticed that she was sitting up rubbing her eyes "good morning" her blue eyes opened but they still looked lifeless "good more prince zuko but I must get ready" she got up and left. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. I got dress while the maids packed up a few things. "I recommend thick thick coats" I looked and saw it was the tall girl "have you ever been there?" "No but my boyfriend was and my was to be sister in law told me to tell you" "sister-in-law?" She nod holding out a chocker similar to katara, but it was more aquamarine than ocean blue and the stone pendant had water and two cross swords behind it "he was going to propose after the war and asked katara to hold it" she sighed and put her hand down "anyways thick clothing and we leave in twenty minutes" she walked out with that and i sent all the maids out. I sat and thought about the lives that we burn, well some, my father actually spared katara's brother and father on account that we don't tell katara. My uncle came to get me "uncle I still don't understand I tried to get to know her and I did but she is still distance from me" "give her time her family just died okay and she's about to visit the last two that she has" "two? I thought it was just her grandmother" "if she has not told you I can't either" I was so distracted who is her next family that I didn't hear anything my uncle or azula was say but I did hear "moon saint!! Moon saint!! Please help me!!" Then the carriage stop, I looked at the coachman "why did we stop?" He pointed to the carriage in front of us and just when he did katara stepped out in all her glory "moon saint!! Moon sai-" they couldn't finish cause they tripped but katara caught them the guards we're about to assist but she told them to stand down "what's wrong?" "I can't see and I need to work to help my family" the girl said crying in katara's dress "there there" then a lady I think it's her mother came forward "oh moon saint I'm so sorry for my child's insolence" "it's not an insolence when you want to help your family" she told her with wisdom in her voice. She bent down "I'll try but it will hurt and I can't promise you it will work" she nodded katara put on hand behind her head and the next over her eyes. Everyone was silent just watching then the little girl started sobbing "i-it hurts" "it's almost over" then she removed her hand from behind her head and the next one from the girl's eyes. She put one hand up "if you can see place your hand on mine" the girl stared straight ahead then looked to where katara's hand is and placed her shaking hand on katara's. Her and her mother started crying "thank you moon saint" the little girl hugged katara and katara hugged her back "your welcome"everyone started cheering and throwing flowers at katara, but what no one might of noticed was that katara slipped something in the girl's pocket "good bye young child" "good bye moon saint may Agni and the moon gods bless you" she smiled and nod and enter her coach to resume the trip. Minutes later and we reach the ship katara came out and walked with her friends onto the ship. I ran to them "how did you do that?" "Do what?" She said sounding clueless "give the girl her sight back" "oh well yesterday while I was gone I got lost and found the library I got all medical books and read for hours till one of the guards found me at the back of the library, one of the books we're about color, night or plain blindness and just learned" I nod "I see so why did they call you moon saint" "I heard there was rumor of people as a way to show gratitude and loyalty they would give me the name moon saint or blue rose I guess the rumors are true" Before I can ask another question the girl who I thought was blind or maybe was walked up to katara "sing" "what?" "I want you and suki to sing please I heard you guys sing now I want to see you sing" suki (who I notice have the necklace on) and katara looked at each other and nod "let's wait for iroh and then we can sing she ran off somewhere while her and suki started laughing "what's funny?" "She's going to get Iorh so we can sing" they left talking about the south pole and how she was going to present her with her and sokka's three tailed poler wolves.

(I'm sorry I couldn't find the lyrics so I can't show them to you and the song is called simple and clean/ sanctuary duet and katara is the one who starts singing)

Still Zuko p.o.v.

I couldn't sleep so I got up and went to the top of the ship and I saw katara in her wrapping sitting on the rails and her silk blue robe on the floor. I was going to talk to her but she stood on the rails, and again credits for amazing balance, and she jumped. My eyes widened and I ran to the edge looking into the dark blue ocean, when I was about to jump in to look for her she pooped her head out and giggled with sweet blist and I just stared in awe. She turned around and saw me "hello prince Zuko" "I told you already just Zuko" "okay just zuko come join me" I couldn't help but smile "is it cold?" "No it's surprisingly warm" she said so I went under the bar and jumped. When the luke warm water connected with my skin I felt like someone was looking at me. I opened my eyes to see katara swimming around me. She started bended under water and I actually thought that I was tricked and she was going to drown me but she actually bended an air tight bubble "thought I was going to kill you huh" I was a bit dumbfounded on how she found out that I just nod. She gave a sad chuckle "trust me I lost my spark for fighting and challenging people" I felt a wave of guilt over me which is ironic since I'm in the ocean. She took us to the bottom of the ocean "look at this the ocean is like another world" I looked around and saw what she was talking about true it's nothing like the world above "it's so mysterious yet so siren" she was hugging herself and shivered a bit. I moved towards her since her back was towards me, I wrapped my arms around her and heating up my body temperature slowly but continually till she was my temperature "why are you so cold" "maybe cause I'm a waterbender from the south pole who makes water into ice by the change of my emotion" I nod she took her hand from under mine to put her hair over one shoulder and rested her head on my chest. The bubble started waving a bit like it was about to burst "katara?" "Mm?" "are you falling asleep?" "Mhm" "well we are still under water katara" she didn't respond then water started seeping from under the bubble instead of filling up the bubble it froze under or feet and started to float to the surface, floated in mid-air and rested us on the ship. She threw the bubble and the water on us back into the ocean. I picked her up, grabbed her robe and took her to her room but when I opened the door I saw the other two sleeping on her bed 'she wasn't playing when she said she doesn't want them out of there site' I thought I knew if I tried to rest her down one of them might wake up and attack me so I took her to my room and laid her down on my chest and covered her. Marrying her might actually not be a pain.
