Lost Summer (Book 1)

Part 2

Jared POV

Jensen and I arrived at the hotel a few days ago and we are already so rested. It's our third day here. We are in the lobby when some new quests arrive it looks like a family of four. The mother, father, son and daughter but there is something about that girl. She is so beautiful I just have to get to know her. 

The next morning as we're sitting in the restaurant having breakfast I see the family walking to a table outside. I turn to Jensen and catch him staring at her as well. I guess I'm not the only one who finds her interesting.

We watch them laugh and smile while they wait for the waitress but the girl is staring at the ocean almost like she has never seen it before. When the boy touches her arm softly she looks to him and smile it's the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. 

Then she says something and they all laugh. When the waitress arrives they thank her and start eating but the girl looks up and then she looks around so Jensen and I divert our gaze. When she looks back at the table we turn to look at her again. 

As long as he doesn't try to get to her before I do then I don't mind him staring at her. Soon they get up and leave so Jensen and I follow until they get to the beach. Once there we watch her for a little while longer and then we head back to the hotel.

Jensen POV

The family that just booked in seems like a nice family but there is something about the young girl that fascinates me but I don't know what and I can't get her out of my mind. I can't help but stare when they walk into the restaurant. 

She seems so carefree and happy yet mysterious and shy at the same time. When she looks around I divert my gaze to Jared only then realizing he has been watching her to. So he finds her interesting as well.

If he wants to get to know her then I will step back so he can be happy but it doesn't mean I can't look at her. After breakfast we follow them to the beach as Jared and I watch her for a little longer. I realize she is as white as a ghost and it seems like she isn't allowed in the sun. 

I wonder why. One of the many mysteries of her I guess. I have a feeling this is going to turn into a mystery that we will have to solve. Or like the Scooby gang would say we have another mystery on our hands. 

After a few more minutes of watching her we head back to the hotel since we have to get everything ready to meet our fans in two days. I hope she is a fan.
