Summer heat it the worst thing in the world heat waves, sweat, and bugs. You want to go fishing but your mom says to go to summer wrestling practice and basketball practice too it's sucks hard. All you want to do is fishing and hanging out with your friend group but more importantly rot in bed this summer with no human contact at all but your friends try to get you out of your room this summer especially your parents.
"Honey you need to get out of bed" as the door opens "I don't know mom" you looked at her "Rotting in bed is doing nothing to help your health child" she spoke out with a sad tone. "Why don't you go to the library to see if they want any help their" closing the door slowly as she leaves the room. Thinking to yourself 'It won't be that bad right' getting up from the bed and walking towards the drawer pulling out some shorts and long socks with silly images on them. Some people would say you dress like a teenager boy but you don't bother with them taking a shirt from the closet with a meme on it your dad got this for your birthday he thought you would like this because it was goofy to look at.
A wolf pulling it shirt off in the moonlight with words on top saying 'I'm cooked' you don't even know where he got this from but it works. Stepping out of your room walking down the hallway into the living "Good morning sleepy head" your dad says as he watches TV "Good morning dad" grabbing your shoes on the rack by the door and sitting down by him on the couch "Where are you going?" Turning his head to you "The library to help out" looping the shoes lace together making bunny ears "That's nice do you need a ride them" getting of the couch "Yes sir" grabbing the car keys off the key holder.
Walking out the door handing the keys to your dad getting in the black Toyota playing with the radio until you found one to your liking. Humming to the song "Say how about on Monday you would like to go fishing" it was Wednesday "Next week" you said with your eyebrow raised "I got you a new fishing rod like yesterday" surprised by that "Yes!" You said immediately by that even though you still would have gone. He stops the car "Here you are" looking at the library "Text me when your done ok" opening the door and getting out "Love you dad see you" turning around to look at him "Love you too" closing the door behind you.
