Scene 1: The Brink of Despair
Beram stood trembling before the monstrous Suicide, its form shifting and pulsating with an aura of despair. His vision swam with the same bleakness, distorted by his depression. The world was a canvas of black and white, devoid of vibrancy and hope.
"I refuse to be eaten by machines!" Beram screamed, his voice raw with desperation. "This world... I hate it! Hate everything and everyone!" His voice cracked. "All I see is death, greed, nothing but black and white!"
Suicide lunged. Its razor-sharp claws glinted in the artificial light. Beram shut his eyes, bracing for the end. "Finish it," he whispered, a wave of relief washing over him.
Suddenly, a blinding light engulfed the room. A deafening roar echoed in Beram's ears. When he opened his eyes, everything had changed.
Scene 2: An Unexpected Intervention
A figure stood between him and Suicide, wings shimmering with an otherworldly glow. Beram could only see the silhouette, the rest of the world still drenched in black and white. Who was this? An angel?
From Beram's perspective, the angel spoke with a voice that resonated with authority. "God says you will live, Beram. Go to the surface and find the truth."
"God? Truth? What are you talking about?" Beram staggered back, confused and disoriented. He didn't want to live anymore. Why would God intervene now?
The angel gilded closer, its form radiating warmth and light. "Your depression has clouded your vision, Beram," she said gently. "It's short-sighted. You only see the world in black and white."
As the angel touched Beram's eyes, a wave of sensation washed over him. Pixel colors exploded in his mind – the vibrant reds and purples of the stained-glass windows, the cool blue of the angel's wings. The world shifted, coming into focus for the first time.
"Never forget," the angel said, her voice soft yet firm. "The power you have comes from the Creator of the Universe. Find the answers you seek on the surface, and He will guide you to the Super Carrot that will destroy the Clone."
Berum with a confused look "The Clone".
With a final flicker of light, the angel vanished. Beram stood alone, the echo of her words lingering in the air. He blinked, taking in the vibrant world for the first time. The black and white filter had lifted, replaced by a kaleidoscope of colors he never knew existed.
