Scene 1: A Village Transformed
One month had passed since Braxer and Graxior arrived in Domiko. The once-barren village now teemed with life. Children's laughter filled the air, their joyful screams a stark contrast to the harsh reality of the surface. Braxer, muscles hardened and a newfound confidence in his step, walked alongside Hitami, Graxior trotting happily at his heels.
The Explorer Database Center bustled with people from all walks of life, each gathered around sleek holographic terminals that projected information into the air. Beram and Toro entered with Hitami leading the way, her presence commanding respect. Unlike them, she wore a badge that gleamed with the insignia of an elite explorer, granting her privileges that most others in the room could only dream of.
Hitami guided them to one of the public terminals. "This is the civilian portal," she explained, gesturing to the touchpad interface. "You can look up any discovery that explorers have submitted. Go on, give it a try."
Beram cracked his knuckles and typed the word "carrot" into the search bar. A single entry appeared, floating in front of them. It read: Artist: Genji. Discovery: Sketch of a Carrot. A simple sketch, no details or analysis, just an artist's rendition of the vegetable.
Toro chuckled softly, leaning closer to the screen. "Genji, huh? Sounds like a name my brother used once when he was pretending to be a painter." He shook his head, lost in the memory.
