Chapter - 8 Garba night 🌼~

Smriti pov :

She was not able to go for the garba night as she had  some important pending work.So she denied Ananya for the night and due to that Ananya was very angry with her saying she always does this and spoils all the fun. Saying this Ananya cuts her call and was not answering neither replying to her texts. Smriti knew how much Ananya was excited for the garba night so somewhat she felt bad. She thought isko toh manna hi lungi mai i know bahut upset hai but mujhe bhi apne best friend ka mood sahi karne aata hai.

She texted her some cute messages asking sorry and said that she would have definitely gone with her if the work was not so important. She then promised her that tomorrow definitely they would go for the garba night. Ananya was happy as she wanted this only so she thought
“Chalo ishe jhuth ka naraz rehne ka kuch faida toh hua ab yeh kal firse mana nahi kar payegi.I just want her to take a break from her hectic life and enjoy at least for a while isliye yeh sab drama kiya. Hopefully tomorrow's garba would be interesting and would bring a real smile on her face which she never shows to the world.”

Smriti then worked for some time and then went home and slept off with coco by her side.

Next morning:

She woke up around 8 and saw coco was still sleeping. She was surprised because by that time he used to wake up.She tried to wake him up lovingly by patting his head but he was too lazy to wake up. Now it worried her as he never did that and always responds to her touch. Then she thought maybe he is not well so she should take him to the vet before going to office. She messaged her pa Sunidhi that might be little late for her office. Then she got ready and took coco to the vet and while driving she was worried that what might would have happen to him as he was alright yesterday night.

The doctor their said that it’s nothing to be worried of, it happens sometimes, maybe he is just not feeling that energetic.He gave him an injection and said that he will be alright in 1-2 days. Smriti was relieved to hear this. She took coco home and said Samarth to take care of him and not leave him.

Samarth said her that “Di don’t worry I will take care of him and will not leave him even for a moment. She thanked him and then rushed to her office for meeting as she was already late.”

Singhania office :

It was evening and Smriti was still working.
Around 5 pm Ananya called her and asked her where she was. Smriti said in a duh tone :)
“Office mai hi rahungi naa.”

Ananya knew it so she screamed
“I so knew it tu Abhi Tak office mai hi hogi...
don’t you have to get ready for the garba night. Office ke kaam ke chakkar mai sab kuch bhool jati hai.Now without wasting a moment go to your house to get ready I will meet you their in 10 minutes and dare you to get late phir bataungi mai tujhe.”

Smriti was annoyed and said “Garba night starts at 7 pm so what’s the hurry and waise bhi mujhe taiyaar hone mai 10-15 minutes se zyada nhi lagane wale so stop screaming dude.”

Ananya said in a serious tone  “Yaa yaa I know how you will get ready that’s why I am coming to your house to make you ready and dare you say no because tu ache se janti hai mai bhi teri hi best friend hu and I very well know ki apni baat kaise manwani hai. So if you don’t want me to come to your office and drag you forcefully from there so get home as soon as possible.”
