I was walking down a hallway on my way back from class when I heard a guy's voice call out, "The Knicks suck!" I was wearing a New York Knicks shirt.

I turned my head to see Paige and some dude from the men's team.

Paige turned to the guy. "No they don't." She said. Then she called out to me, "Don't listen to him Carson!"

I just gave her a smile and continued walking to where Hadley was waiting for me.

I spotted her leaning on a wall.

"You're wearing shorts too?" I questioned, noticing that Paige was also wearing shorts.

"Yeah it's going to be like 80 degrees." Hadley said.

"I checked the weather app and it said like 55." I said.

I opened the weather app and showed Hadley.

"Carson, that's Poland." Hadley sighed.

I flipped the phone around to see that my weather app location was set to Poland. Out of all fricken places.

Hadley started laughing at me before I felt two hands on my shoulders and suddenly heard Paige's voice right behind me.

"Why are you wearing sweatpants?" Paige asked.

"Shut up." I said.

"Where you guys going?" Paige questioned.

"Chipotle." Hadley said.

"Can I come?" Paige asked.

"No." I said, grabbing her hands off of my shoulders and turning around to lean on the wall with Hadley.

Hadley and I were now both facing Paige.

"Why?" Paige groaned.

"You're too annoying." I shrugged.

"Rude." Paige mumbled.

Hadley and I made eye contact, communicating through nothing but the looks we gave each other. We both pushed off of the wall and started walking.

Paige tried to catch up to us.

"No, you're not walking with us unless you sit in a trash can and I pull you around." I said.

"Okay, you pick which trash can." Paige smiled.

I stopped in my tracks, turned around and grabbed Paige's arm, dragging her with us.
