Miho had a will, the will to die. But even that was impossible for her. Satoru didn't had a will to die, yet he can, if he ever wants to. They were both busy people. He had to take two days off since he wasn't getting that much rest.

Miho was starting to develop lines under her eyes. She just came from a mission the night before. The higher ups were making her stay away from the school as much as they can. She was forbidden from the library related to curses for an unknown reason.

Satoru's eyes widened at the voice behind him. There was no way she had survived after all the blood she lost. He slowly turned around, only to be shocked even further. There she stood with blood all over her body, blood out of her nose. Hair in a mess.

His face turned into confusion as the blood slowly disappeared into nothing. The crimson liquid vanishing from her uniform. The nose no longer bleeding. She truly was a mystery.

He recalled the words she spoke just now, realizing she was immortal in some way. He found his voice and asked her, "You can't die?" To which he got a confusing reply,

"I can, just not if I want myself to be unalive. A blessing I got from thee lord."

Satoru opened his mouth, about to ask who is her lord that she speaks about. But Miho interrupted him just in time, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting." With a slight bow, she left without turning back.

"That was weird." With that, he left too. Having nowhere to go, he went back into Miho's dorm. Satoru was a boy that wasn't scared of confrontation, so like a curious person he was, he dove into her dressing table and started doing makeup.

He did a pretty bad job so he decided to remove it but kept her lipgloss in his pocket because he thought it was looking pretty on him. Now getting even more bored, he started reading her magazines, well not reading, just looking at the pictures.

It wasn't too long when Miho returned. The casual frown she wore was still there. He wondered what she looked like when she wasn't frowning like a spoilt child that didn't got the Christmas gift they wanted.

The only time he see her smile are the time she was communicating with someone so they won't think she is rude. And it was only a simple smile that didn't held any meaning besides pleasing someone.

"Shoko invited me to the bar with her at night. Are you coming too?" She said not bothering to hide the tone indicating she wasn't pleased with him coming with them. She watched as his face brightened up.

"Ofcourse! It will make me seem so cool-" His face scrunched up in realisation, "wait, aren't we all underage? How will they let us in?"

"Don't worry about that."
