"The one power is a powerful tool that we wield." the woman in blue said, kneeling in the snow-muddied ground, just so she could be at the same level as the small girl. She had positioned herself behind her father's legs, so only her head was peeking out from behind him.
The Aes Sadi opened herself to the one power, pulling at threads of air and fire. Making small fireworks explode into butterflies in her hands that flitted over to the girl. Her giggles drew her out from her hiding spot, the Aes Sadi took in her mud-stained dress and her long hair that was in the remanence of a braid.
"Though it is nothing that you need to be afraid of." she finished, extending a hand to the girl. Who after looking up to her father for his approval, took the offered hand. In a single fluid motion, the woman of the blue Aja stood, scooping up the girl.
"Could I learn how to make butterflies?" the small girl asked, settling on the woman's hip.
"Yes, sweet thing," the woman answered, "and so much more,"

The warder Lan watched as the woman that he was bonded to carried the little girl towards their two horses. She was asking the Aes Sadi a borage of questions, and she answered each of them.
"Will she be safe?" the lord asked the Shienaein.
"As safe as she can be," he said, "and Moiraine will ensure that she learns how to use her power." looking over at the lord. He had black hair, similar to raven's feathers, and his tanned skin which was a stark contrast to his daughter. With her honey-brown hair and ivory skin, she looked more like the woman that carried her than the man that he stood next to.
"A part of me knew that Aleksandria would go to Tar Valon," the Lord turned his attention to him. "Though I never expected it to be so soon." Lan furrowed his brows in a silent question. "Just days after the Aiel left Cairhien she appeared on our doorstep; she couldn't have been more than three days old."
The day of the prophecy, he thought. Both men looked back at the girl and Aes Sadi.
