Chapter 23.

I stayed backstage beside Rhea, I didn't  move but I sat there and watched. I haven't seen anyone out of the ordinary just yet. I look down at my title belt around my waist and all of the memories in the ring wash over me.

Was I really willingly to give up my time in the ring just because of Roman and his jealousy issues?

I got up and walked down to the empty ring set up and I took off my belt and laid down in the middle of the ring looking at the ceiling.

What am I doing? Why am I making decisions based off him? I make decisions based off me, I have to remember why I came to the WWE in the first place. This isn't what I expected it to be like but I knew the risks when I decided to step into the ring and prove day in and day out who I am and make a name for myself.

I guess I was too caught up in my thoughts because I didn't even hear anyone walk or get into the ring with me. I soon felt someone's presence beside me but I didn't say anything. I  turned my head and saw that it was Jimmy and Jey. They both laid on opposite sides of me and we laid there in the silence.

They each took my hands and we didn't  say anything, there was nothing that needed to be said, everything was understood.

After a while I rolled out of the ring, I grabbed my belt and threw it over my shoulder, they looked at me, " we both love you and whatever decision you decide to make, we will support you."

I smiled and blew them a kiss, " i love you both too, thank you so much for understanding and being supportive but I don't think I'm going anywhere anytime soon."

Tears dropped from my eyes as I walked backstage, Nick Aldis bumped into me and he saw the look on my face and pulled me into a hug, " oh come here." He embraced me tightly, I hugged him back .

I walked out of the arena and got into the car and drove towards the gym so I could be ready for my match the following week.

I was in the gym doing stunts and taking bumps, I was so focused on myself and the things I could do for my career right now. nothing mattered but my daughter and this title. That was my motivation, that was all the motivation I needed.

And i did it in NXT without Roman so I damn sure can do it on smackdown with him or without him. I had my headphones in and was punching the bag when someone grabbed my shoulder, I turned quickly and saw that it was Liv. I hadn't talked to her since the whole Jey situation.

I looked at her, " what's up Liv?"  She looked at me with those big blue eyes, " can we talk? please."
I guess it wouldn't hurt, but I hadn't even really thought about the situation til I found out, I pulled out my water bottle and sat down, " what's up?"

" I know, I know I fucked up.. but please it was a drunken mistake and I would have never done it but he was so sad about you and jimmy and he thought that you guys were dating. I just wanted to comfort him, I never meant for it to go that far. I promise Armani, I love you more than anything."

I nodded, " it's fine Liv, I mean I can't be mad at you, I wasn't even dating him. So it's fine, I don't mind, I'm more focused on my title now."
She laughed and gave me a sincere smile, " I'm glad you're back into your element."
" wanna run a match with me?"
She smiled, " always."

THE NEXT DAY.

I still haven't had a real conversation with Nick Aldis about resigning my contract and honestly, I didn't want to think about it because Adam Pierce has also offered me a contract for RAW so it's kind of a big decision deciding where i should go but 9/10 Triple H is gonna ask that I stay on smackdown so Smackdown can have a champion because if I was to move RAW i would have taken my championship with me.

I was training with Tiffany Stratton, she was on NXT but she was a pretty sweet girl. She was a fast rising star because she was just so amazing at what she did. I heard they are trying to draft her over to smackdown already. I was running drills with Tiff so I didn't hear when the door opened. I suplexed Tiffany and when she hit the ground I heard slow claps from behind us. I turned my head and saw that it was my sister who walked in. Tiffany looked at me and I looked at her, my sister looked at me and smiled, " well hello little sister."

I stood up and looked at her, " what do you want Ariel, I thought Hunter made it pretty clear for you to stay away from me"

" He did, I'm here on business." She turned her head to the side and looked at Tiffany, "Ms.Stratton, Hunter wants to see you in his office."

Tiffany looked at me, " can we continue later?" I smiled and nodded at her, I stepped out of the ring and grabbed my bag off the floor. I took my water bottle out my bag and slung my bag over my shoulder.

" see you later on."

I heard Ariel say under her breath, I ignored her and walked out of the gym. I pulled out my phone as I was walking to my car and mistakenly bumped into someone. My phone hit the ground and they bent down to pick it up,

"Sorry about that." I looked at them and went silent, " no fucking way..."
