Summary:

Alan decides to finally confess his love to Gaipa on Valentine's Day. The boy is more than happy to finally have Alan in his arms.

Alan has been trying to ask Gaipa out for more than 3 months now. However, something always came up. It's either Gaipa who couldn't meet Alan because of his work at the chicken stall or Alan was the one who just simply got scared of rejection, so he didn't tell Gaipa about his feelings.

In fact, he had one miserable attempt on confessing to Gaipa, but in the unfortunate turn of events, they were interrupted by Leng who couldn't calm down his crying child and asked for their help. That day, instead of confessing, Alan got to see Gaipa rocking a small baby in his arms. Seeing the man smile and talk to the little child just made Alan fall in love even more.

But now as Valentine's Day was approaching, Alan had to recognise that he would most likely never have a chance with Gaipa if he didn't confess as soon as possible. And Valentine's Day seemed to be the perfect occasion to do that. Especially after Wen has mentioned to Alan that one of his costumers was flirting with Gaipa.

"I think it's time to shoot your shot, man." Wen friendly pat his shoulder. "Gaipa is an attractive young man and if you don't confess, someone might do it before you could say anything to him."

Hearing this, Alan just gulped and nodded in agreement.

Gripping his phone in his hands, Alan took a deep breath and opened his chats with Gaipa. He smiled at the silly little stickers Gaipa was sending him all the time.

Hey Gaipa! Would you like to meet up this Wednesday?

He was thinking of explaining briefly why he wanted to meet Gaipa, but decided to keep it short, so he doesn't scare the boy away.

Hi Alan! Of course, I would love to meet you. Where should we meet?

The answer came immediately a few minutes after. Reading Gaipa's answer, Alan's heart started beating faster. Gaipa didn't reject him right away. That meant that Alan still had some hope. What if he doesn't know that Wednesday is Valentine's Day, that's why he agreed? The little voice said in Alan's head. Shut up! Alan groaned under his nose. Then he typed his answer.

4 p.m? At your chicken stall? That's when you finish at work, right?

Yes, that's right. I'm glad you remembered. Let's meet at 4.p.m. then *heart emoji*

Alan felt his hands starting to shake at the sight of the emoji. He wanted to jump out of his skin. Gaipa has sent him a heart emoji! In return, Alan sent back another silly sticker and then put his phone on the table next to him.

"I'm so happy for you!" Wen grinned at Alan.

"You can be happy if he says yes. Maybe he will reject me." Alan buried his face in his hands.

"Stop saying this, Alan!" Wen slightly shook his shoulder. "Gaipa will most likely jump into your arms when you ask him out."

"How do you know that?" Alan raised his head.

Wen's face turned slightly pale at the question, then he shook his head and shortly answered.

"I know what I know."
