Location: Mount Justice

Black Canary :,,Team this is your new teammate he was recommended to us by the Red Knight, Henry Schildburg he will be your main medic from now on his code name isn't yet decided though I have no doubt that he will have one soon."

Henry waved at them shyly :,,Ahm, Hi everyone."

Kaldur :,,Welcome to the team Henry. I am Kaldur the leader of the team and I am glad to have you onboard."

Robin :,,Yeah it's good to finally have a medic on the team. Especially with Wally and Izuku."

Wally and Izuku :,,Hey!"

Wally and Izuku glared at Robin while the young vigilante just smirked at them.

Black Canary :,,How about some of you show Henry around? Also Kaldur I need to have a quick word with you."

Kaldur followed Black Canary  out of the room while Megan floated over to Henry and excitedly shaked Henrys hand.

Megan :,,Hey! I am M'gann or Megan but out on the field I am Miss Martian and it's really nice to have you on the team!"

Henry :,,I-I-It's a honor to be h-here. T-Thank you"

Izuku :,,How about I show you around? We are gonna join you guys in lounge is that ok?"

The rest of the team nods as they made their way to the lounge, Megan wanted to be part of the tour but Connor took her with him.

Izuku :,,How about we start with the training rooms?"

Henry :,,Sounds good."

Izuku began leading Henry around the base, but while Izuku was explaining the different rooms they passed Henry had other thoughts on his mind.

Izuku :,,So you look like you wanna ask me something?"

Henry :,,Huh?"

Izuku :,,I know that look. Believe me I used it alot especially... at the beginning of my career."

Henry looked down his eyes fixed on the floor.

Henry :,,How do you deal with it?"

Izuku :,,With what?"

Henry :,,The pain they put you through. How did you heal from it?"

Izuku :,,I didn't."

Henry looked up at him with suprise in his eyes.

Henry :,,What?"

Izuku :,,You can never truly heal from something like that. Equally how much you may try, the pain of what happened and the memories will never leave you alone. For me it nearly has been 4 years and I still have dreams about being back on that table with the mad Doctor above me and then I wake up screaming."

Henry looked downcast, his shoulders slumping down.

Henry :,,So I'm stuck like this for the rest of my life?

Izuku :,,I wish I could say no, but yeah. It'll never stop hurting, but you can use that hurt to do something. That is why I became a hero."

Henry nodded letting out a sigh.

Izuku :,,Sorry that I can't tell you anything else. But that would be lying and that would only make it worse."

Izuku puts a hand on Henrys shoulder.

Izuku :,,But if you ever need someone to talk to then I am here. Now! Come on we still have to finish this tour and after that we go to the Lounge where the others are waiting for us."
