Chapter. 22 From the deep

No one POV.

The ground shook and the air vibrated as Jörmungandr and Leviathan attacked each other. Their giant bodies dancing around each other in a attempt to overpower the other. But either of them managed to overpower the other and so they were stuck in a seemingly endless loop of fighting.
But what neither of the two realised was the Chaos they caused.
Everyone even Nomus tried to get to safety at the sight of the giant beasts fighting. Well almost everyone, some heroes still tried to maintain some sort of order. Like Endeavor and his wife Icewave, but despite their best efforts they aren't able to.
All Might does his best fighting the Nomus while Inko uses her quirk to the point of exhaustion to save everyone she can.
She was about to turn to another street full of people as a yellow red blur appeared and in less then 5 seconds the entire street was empty.

Inko :,,What?"

Kid Flash :,,Hey! Don't just stand there we got a job to do!"

On another street Superboy was fighting two Nomus at the same time while Miss Martian levitated a Bus full of people away. Superboy was doing pretty good on his own but then a third Nomu charged at him, Superboy knew he would get hit since he had his hands full. But then the charging Nomu was hit by something and was sent flying into a wall, the thing that hit the Nomu stood up and Superboy saw white bunny ears. Before they came charging towards one of the Nomus he was fighting.

Mirko :,,Damn and I thought you American Superheroes are supposed to be better then us?"

Superboy rolled his eyes as he punched the one Nomu in the face hard enough to make his head explode.

Superboy :,,I just forgot that those things are nothing else but Zombies."

All for One breathed heavily his mask was destroyed and he had used nearly all of the quirks in his arsenal and yet Luthor didn't seemed even remotely tired. He had played all his cards but none of them seemed to work on Luthor.
Meanwhile Luthor just calmly walked towards the exhausted All for One but his walk was interupted and he had to steady himself as the ground shook again. Both Luthor and All for One looked towards the battle of Jörmungandr and Leviathan, Leviathan began to shoot a beam from his mouth at Jörmungandr who answered by spitting water at Leviathan their attacks meeting in the middle causing shockwaves to go through the air.

All for One :,,DO YOU SEE THIS!? DO YOU SEE WHAT WE COULD DO TOGETHER LUTHOR!! THE WORLD COULD BE OURS FOR THE TAKING!!"

Luthor was impressed by the sheer power both Leviathan and Jörmungandr displayed. Despite Jörmungandr being more experienced it seemed that they were fighting on equal terms. Luthor was silent for a few moments but then a smirk made it's way onto his face.

Luthor :,,Well old pal, while I want alot of things... the world isn't one of them."

All for One screamed, his scream a combination of anger and fear at the same time. He charged up another one of his quirks but Luthor immediately shot a blast at him, sending All for One flying through the wall of a garage building and through several cars that were parked there.
All for One groaned in pain as he pulled himself out of a car and just dodged in time to avoid another blast from Luthor. Thinking quickly All for One send a beam of fire towards Luthor who answered with a beam of his own, their attacks met each other in the middle.
The flames of All for One and the beam of Luthor mixed with each other and a slow hiss was heard before the entire garage exploded, green flames engulfing it melting the concrete it was made out of.

Leviathan roared as it finally found a opening in Jörmungandrs defends, it lunged forward closing it's massive jaws around the other Serpents neck. The two struggled for a bit but eventually Leviathan managed to wrestle the other serpent down both of them vanishing beneath the surface. Only waves and splashing water showing the massive fight that was going on underneath.
Underneath the surface Jörmungandr tried his best to get out of Leviathans bite while also trying to get as far away from the coast as possible. 
Finally Jörmungandr was able to free itself from Leviathans jaw, then as quickly as possible he moved his giant body to coil around Leviathan. Now it was Leviathan's turn to struggle as Jörmungandr tightens his grip around Leviathan as he pulls her deeper and deeper into the darkness of the ocean.


Back on the surface the situation seemed to somewhat calm down with the disappearance of the two Serpents.
Deathstroke was suprised at the sudden silence as he pulled his sword out of Shigarakis head.

Deathstroke :,,Seems like everything is done."

Bane comes out of a dark alleyway the head of Mister Compress in his right hand.

Bane :,,One monster is still left."

He pointed towards the brown giant that was Gigantomachia.

Deathstroke :,,Yeah but we can let the Japanese deal with that one."

Bane :,,Any news of Luthor?"

Deathstroke :,,Haven't heard of him since this whole thing here started."

Deathstroke lifted one hand to his ear and exchanged a few words with the other members of the team. He finds out that Cheetah and Sportsmaster are done with the once they were fighting, Deadshot still struggled with a Nomu and Poison Ivy was in control over the giant beast. Though she abandoned it since the heroes started to attack it now, hearing nothing of Luthor though Deathstroke gave the command to pull back and meet at the gathering point. He then looks one last time at the dead Shigaraki before he and Bane vanished in the dark.

The League of Villians was no more.

The earth rumbles and the water level raises as a deep growl was heard from the ocean, the surface is calm but then giant waves started to be created and suddenly the surface broke as a giant body emerged from the deeps. It's sudden appearance creating tsunamis, people all over Japan stopped what they were doing as everyone from Hokaido in the north to Kyushu in the south saw the creature raise up.
The creatures head was in the clouds before it lowered it, the people of Tokyo fell to their knees as they saw the giant creature coming for them. But it stopped just above the city and opened it's massive jaws and from it fell Leviathan body falling into the bay of Tokyo.
Jörmungandr had won the fight against Leviathan, the battle was over.
