Chapter 3 New alliances

Ana then hands him the pencil, then asks her....

"What's your name?" Asks the blue eyed boy

"Ana..." She replies back

"Well Ana, meet me at the field at lunch" Mike asks Ana while winking at her.

Ana gives him a slight smile then pays attention back to class

Mike waits all lunch at the football field for Ana but she was a no show. The next day Ana had PE class and she was running-until Mike also ran up to her.

"Hey!" Mike said while running next to Ana

"Oh hey..." Ana replied while trying to run faster

"So I wanted to ask-" Mike was cut off by the very loud whistle blown by the pe coach

"Oh gotta go!" Ana said while running towards the pe coach

Before Ana walks away Mike pulls her under the bleachers

"What are you doing? Class ended." Ana said with a confused look on her face

"You stood me up yesterday. Why?" Mike asked her with a hurt look on his face

"Look...don't take it personally, I just... forgot. Ana said quietly, she 'forgot'? She knew she was lying to herself.

"You forgot? I told you the class before lunch." Mike replied

"Yeah I have a bad memory I guess." Ana said while putting a fake smile on her face

"Ok well meet me back here at lunch, and don't forget this time." Mike said while winking at her before jogging away.

Ana goes to the locker room and changes then sees her best friend Sofia?

"Sofia?" Asks ana while getting changed

"Oh hey Ana" Sofia replies

"What are you doing in the locker room? We don't have the same pe class." Ana asks

"Oh, I got in trouble again so, principal Williams is making me clean everywhere, including here. So I won't be able to make it to lunch, sorry." Sofia says while rolling her eyes and holding a mop in her hand

"Oh that's ok, I can't make it to lunch either." Ana says avoiding the contact- she knew she messed up by saying that;now Sofia is gonna ask her so many questions like she's a mom or something

"What?why? You're like the most innocent person I know, what did you do? Asks Sofia with a worried expression on her face.

"Its not what I did, it's what I'm going to do." Ana replied

Sofia raises her eyebrow

"So me and that gringo boy have been talking and he wants me to meet him behind the bleachers during lunch." Ana quickly said;all in one breath

Sofia's eyes widen as she drops the mop

"WHAT!?" Yells Sofia as everyone in the locker room looks at her awkwardly. Sofia pushes Ana into a random shower.

"Do you know what your brothers would do if they found this out!?" Asks Sofia

"But they won't, and I'll stop talking to him, just after today." Replies Ana quickly

"Ana please, I don't want to see you get hurt again." Sofia says while grabbing Ana's hand sternly.

"Esta bien, I'll be fine." Ana says while giving her a smile

Ana then left the locker room and was walking nervously to the football field. Why was Ana doing this? This is just a platonic friendship right? Ana then walks under the bleachers and sees the blonde haired boy
